KeymasterHi Liz
Since I am leaving later today and will be back only in september, I’d advise you to grant me temporary admin access to your site so I can try to fix the issue as soon as possible for you ๐ you can post the credentials here and mark the reply as private.Stefano
KeymasterI revoked Analytics auth in sub-site with no issues – maybe you only needed to clear your browser cache ๐ Anyway, you should be good to set it up again now!

KeymasterPHP 5.5 will be fine. Anyway, I’d advise at least PHP 5.6, since PHP 5.5 is already out of support ๐
Stefano
KeymasterThanks. It’s easier than I thought, actually. The issue is that you’re running an outdated PHP version (it’s 5.3, whereas my plugin needs at least 5.5, and we’re now at PHP 7). Is it possible for you to upgrade it?

This is now fixed! Version 1.1 ships the fix and has just been released ๐

There seems to be some issue with PayPal payments not getting the Author Payment Bonus. Will investigate further and release a fix ASAP.
2. When I went to pay it anyway (to see whether it still worked or not, or did it in two passes or something) I forgot to change my payment source and it canceled. Now, even though it said no money was transferred The actualโDue Payโ is showing as zero, instead of the amount I havenโt paid.
Yes, there’s no way to change that behavior. As written in the warning message, just open the payment history for that user and delete the new (bad) record. If you had selected more than one user, you can even pull up the entire transaction and delete it.
Finally, I couldn’t quite get what the two last screens are about, as they seem unrelated. Let’s try to keep issues separate, so we can fix them one by one ๐

KeymasterHi Liz,
the Account is restricted error is due to the fact that you probably have PayPal Sandbox enable in the plugin PayPal settings. Try to uncheck it and it should work.Could you add a โremoveโ option for affected users so I donโt have to do it over again each time it occurs?
I will see what I can do but it’s not so easy ๐
And maybe add the โdetailedโ payment section under the summary as a drop down thatโs compact by default so my page isnโt 3 miles long with posts lol
That’s really a good idea!
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterYes, so that I can access the backend (plugin options) and fix the issue ๐

KeymasterIf you’re willing to grant me temporary admin access I will look into the issue myself. You can post the credentials here and the mark the post as private ๐

KeymasterHi George,
I haven’t been able to understand what the issue is. Can you detail some more? I’m sure we will be able to fix it ๐Have a nice day,

KeymasterHi George,
thanks for reporting and sorry for the hiccup, I’ve just fixed the issue. You can use the download link in the email you already have ๐Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterThanks for the information. We tracked down the bug and fixed it. We have just released Post Pay Counter version 2.609 which should fix the issue ๐
Stefano
KeymasterI cant understand whether the issue is in the stats page or the confirm payment page. Can you post a screenshot? You can upload it on http://it.tinypic.com and then post the URL here ๐
Stefano
KeymasterAre you trying to directly access the page through the menu? In this case, that’s the issue. The Confirm Payment page is only meant to be reached by clicking on payment buttons at the bottom of the stats page. Does this help? ๐
Stefano
KeymasterThanks. Can you guide through the steps you followed and make the problem show up, so I can try to reproduce it? ๐

KeymasterHi Geoff,
we moved to a new server on July 20 and all connections issues should have been fixed.Quoting from the newsletter that have just been sent out,
The most important thing is that, on July 20, we moved to a new server. The number of people who could not activate their license or enjoy PayPal payment features has slowly kept increasing, so it was necessary for us to find a hosting solution that would fix these issues. As of today, connection time out issues, both for license activations and PayPal transactions should be a nightmare of the past.
What does this mean to you? If you had your license activated through the License box, without our intervention, then this just means quicker connections to our servers. If you had your license manually activated, then our license server is likely not to know your license has actually been activated, and refuse PayPal transactions on this ground. To fix this, you only need to deactivate your license through the License box and reactivate it again with your own license key.

KeymasterCiao Lucio,

KeymasterHi Jonathon,
make sure the folder (and files inside it) post-pay-counter-pro/temp has (at least) 775 permissions. Then delete all files inside it, clear the plugin error log and try again to update Analytics data through the apt feature in the Google Analytics Status box. Do the errors persist?Have a nice day,
