Hi Cheryl,
this sounds like a bug. I’ll investigate and let you know!A nice day,
StefanoStefanoKeymasterYes, I would expect that work. If it doesn’t please let me know!
StefanoKeymasterLooking at the code I can now see that it expects the div to only have the
ppc_exclude_words
class and no others. Can you confirm that changing the div to<div class="ppc_exclude_words" id="rank-math-toc">
works (even if it will break formatting)?StefanoKeymasterBy the way, your hCaptcha is very slow to load and not showing the checkbox until I attempt to submit more than oneโ then the checkbox finally shows up.
Thanks for reporting. I checked in an incognito tab and it seems to work fine for me. I have no control over this, but I suspect there might be some filtering based on the country you’re visiting from.
StefanoKeymaster1. Yeah, the situation is a bit unfortunate with that :/
2. Sure! Let me know which you’d like and I can handle that.
StefanoKeymasterAwesome — for future reference, I manually approve each post due to the outstanding amount of spam. I’ve been away a few days, hence the delay ๐
StefanoKeymasterHi Cheryl,
yeah, that’s why it works in the way you’ve experienced: so that you may assign extra bonus to the same post. In other words, you may keep rewarding the same post payment after payment. You don’t even need to ever set it to zero: you can simply increase it every time. For example you may set it to $1.50 the first payment, then to $4 for the second, and so on. Notice that if you instead decrease the bonus after payment, then the due payment can become negative.Hope this helps! ๐
StefanoStefanoKeymasterHi Cheryl,
If a post has multiple categories, and more than one of them has custom settings, the addon will pick the first one in alphabetical order.Does this help?
StefanoStefanoKeymasterHi Cheryl,
can you share a snippet example of a post content you tried but which didn’t work as expected? Thanks,
StefanoStefanoKeymasterHi Cheryl!
1. Uhm, that’s odd, I just tried again the download link in this page and it works fine for me. Does this work better? https://postpaycounter.com/ppc/addons/ppc_shortcode_stripper.zip
2. No, there’s currently no way. If this is very important to you I might be able to craft you something custom and simple. Let me know.
A nice day,
StefanoStefanoKeymasterHi Cheryl!
For some reason the payment still showed up aspending
on our end, even if it had completed, so it had not triggered the purchase receipt email. I have fixed it now and you should get it by email shortly. Can you confirm you’re all set? ๐A nice day,
StefanoFebruary 10, 2024 at 9:49 am in reply to: Can I update the pay counter when I have expired post-pay Counter Pro #248346StefanoKeymasterAh yes of course, the free version can be updated. I take backwards compatibility very serious so new updates should never break old versions, unless explicitly dedeclared otherwise (and even then only in major releases).
February 9, 2024 at 7:44 pm in reply to: Can I update the pay counter when I have expired post-pay Counter Pro #248327StefanoKeymasterHi there,
no: as the License notes state, a valid license is required to receive support and updates. An expired license will work on the version you have thoughHave a nice day,
StefanoStefanoKeymasterNo unfortunately, not at this time :/

StefanoKeymastercan you tell me the estimated time for implementing G4 for real-time data
There’s no timeline for its implementation nor guarantee that it will come. It’s a completely new service and we’re talking several tens of hours of work.
I understand that you primarily work with G4, and I acknowledge that Matomo Analytics isnโt currently integrated into our systems.
…
Could you please confirm if integrating Matomo Analytics is feasible?I think there’s been a misunderstanding, because PPC does _not_ support GA4, while it does support Matomo. So yes, integrating with Matomo is possible! I don’t have any specific advice other than you need to either self-host and setup a Matomo instance on your server, or signup for a managed instance from a Matomo provider. In either case, integration with PPC is then quite easy as shown in this tutorial:
Hope this helps!
StefanoStefanoKeymasterNot any time soon, I described the GA4 situation in this page.
There’s however a large number of other supported visits trackers, see here
StefanoKeymasterHi Omer,
are you aware of the existence of PPC shortcodes, and if so, how do they not fit your needs? ๐StefanoKeymaster1. I never promised that support for Analytics 4 would be added. I said that the matter would be _evaluated_ again when that would happen. That has happened only very recently, and
a) GA4 is substantially different from UA, which means there is _a lot_ of work that needs to be done in order for support to be added.
b) I don’t trust a player that acts like this, ant I’m not alone: read it from an ex-Google engineer.I cannot commit to a timeline when GA4 will come to PPC nor do I even promise it ever will. I encourage to try out other services, which work comparably well.
2. Filtering by country would be a custom development feature, as I don’t see it as a feature the general public may significantly benefit from (and I’ve never got that request before).
A nice day,
StefanoStefanoKeymasterBecause you keep asking the same question even if it’s already been answered.
December 18, 2023 at 9:18 pm in reply to: Attribution and Payment Calculation for Modified Articles #247379StefanoKeymasterHi Yaser,
PPC is inherently built to reward posts’ authors, and it’s quite hard to share revenue for one post across different authors.
For example, if author A creates a post, and author B edits it later on, any new visits that the post receives will be credited to author A, not B.
There are ways to reward reviewers/editors through the Publisher Bonus addon https://postpaycounter.com/publisher-bonus-editor-rewarding-system/ , but no way to credit authors for shared work on a post.Hope this helps, feel free to ask for more info.
