KeymasterThe round to decimal digit # is set to 2. Yes, I was also expecting this to be rounded to 2 decimal places.
Could you try changing that settings, maybe to 3 or 1, and see how the situation changes? In particular, whether the Due payment column keeps not behaving like the others. Thanks.
Current Month
[ppc author="current" exclude="post_adsense_revenues"]Last Month
[ppc author="current" time_range=”last_month” exclude="post_adsense_revenues" ]The problem I”m having is that both stats are the same. I was expecting that last month would have different figures. The other thing I noticed is that the stats title doesn’t say “Last Month”, it just says “Showing posts for”
This is a subtle issue. The reason for it is that, if you look closely, quotes for the time_range parameter in the second shortcode are a bit curly – not like the ones of the other parameters.
Just use the following:
[ppc author="current" time_range="last_month" exclude="post_adsense_revenues" ]I was thinking if I should display 2 months worth of stats, plus a payment history on the same page so authors could see their stats on the front-end. Will this slow down my site if I have all 3 of these displayed on a front-end page so each user could go and see their own stats?
Shouldn’t be much of a concern. If you want, you can enable stats caching in the Miscellanea box of the Options (Performance section). This way, the impact will be less. However, provided you don’t have tons of users who are costantly looking at their stats, you shouldn’t notice that in terms of performance 🙂

KeymasterI’m learning how to use your plugin and there always seems to be another question around the corner.
It’s a complex software that requires a bit of effort at the beginning, but I can guarantee you won’t regret it a few months down the road. It will just save you so much time and wasted energy! 🙂
Here’s another one. There is Ads, Total Pay, and Due Pay.
Can you explain what the difference is between all 3 and why does Due Pay go so many decimal places back? What versions are you running? It’s weird because they should all be rounded with the same precision… Can you check what you have in Options > Miscellanea > Stats display settings > Round to decimal digit #?
Anyway, Ads refers to revenue coming from Adsense. Total pay is just the same of all the previous revenue columns. You just have Ads, but you could also have Words, Visits and so on, and all those revenue would be summed up in the Total Pay column.
The Due pay column is a PRO feature – when you will mark an author or post as paid, the Due Pay will become zero, and will start increasing again with new, unpaid revenue. This way, if you mark as paid authors when you pay them, you will always have a clear nice clean amount of money that you should pay, without having to do the math of how much you have already paid and how much you still owe.
Hope this helps! 🙂

KeymasterOh right – I had assumed you were using Analytics since you posted in the forum of a paid addon.
What method are you using to track visits then? Is it one from our tutorial? 🙂
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterIt does affect revenue indeed. Unique pageviews are always lower than pageviews, so if you decide to go with them, visits numbers will be lower. This means displayed revenue will be lower, as it is calculated on visits numbers.
Hope this clarifies! Don’t hesitate to ask for more! 🙂

KeymasterSorry for the delay – been on holiday. Still issues with the activation? 🙂
Stefano
KeymasterOkay – thanks for the video. What follows is a list of things
The fact that due payments are not all exact zeroes tells us that the plugins is working fine. It gathered some data – it may not be all of it, but it works. Figures in the Adsense column are rounded to 2 decimal digits, while the payment can be made as accurate as wished since you can customize che number of decimal digits to be shown.
Go to Options > Google Analytics/Adsense Status > Update data and pick a date a bit in the past. Choose the date back in the past enough so that all your revenues are included. For example, if you started earning money in June, pick June, 1st. Then hit Submit and refresh the page a couple times. The Pending rows counter should go to zero. Now visits the stats page and see if any more earnings are shown. By default, the plugin starts counting visits/revenues since the date it was installed – it requires manual intervention to get past data as well.
Also, as I said, I would not expect the plugin to report exactly 0.06$, because some of that will probably come from the homepage or archives pages, and that revenue cannot be assigned to any author in particular, so it is simply not included.
If you still see discrepancies even after manually fetching data as explained above, please look for discrepancies in specific posts, and not just the total, as it may not match the total earnings shown in Adsense for the reason I’ve said before 🙂
Let me know!

KeymasterHi Michael,
Hi, i also couldn’t see where is author payment processing, for example author bank number ?
You can pay through the plugin only with PayPal. Bank transfers must be done manually, and then you can pay authors as paid. The tutorial Mark as paid and pay with PayPal may be useful to you 🙂
I also wanna to ask, why the visit is same with written post (see link attached) and total payment is 0? how you calculate visits counter to avoid illegal view ? when i do not analytic ?
It seems like visits payment was not set up alright, because each post has only 1 visit. The plugin does not count visits; instead, it uses data from external sources (Google Analytics or other plugins), which take care of illegal views.
Another one question, if I set “daisy” author paid, because it already reach internal threshold, and we reshow same report, did its visitor will show up again ?
Only new visits will. Suppose you pay one of her posts for 200 views. If, in later times, that post receives 300 views more, then that will add up to her payment as well (if the post publication date is included in the selected stats time range).
Hope this helps!

KeymasterHi Kathy,
For example if a post was made on Monday I wanted to see how many views it had over a course of a week but it’s only showing me what it got on Monday.
That’s probably just a coincidence due to the fact that yesterday was monday. You may want to use the Update data feature in the Google Analytics/Adsense Status box in the Options page to fetch data for past days.
Does this help?
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterThe issue is clearer now, thanks 🙂
Please make sure you have correctly set up Adsense to work with the plugin as explained in this tutorial. You may want to pull data for past days through the Update data feature in the Google Analytics/Adsense Status box.
If revenues still don’t show up, notice that the plugin only shows revenues coming from pages and posts displayed in the stats page. This means that all revenue generated from banners in the homepage, or in category pages, etc, will not be shown in the plugin dashboard. With such a low income, it is likely that it’s mostly from non-post URLs. Could that be?
Don’t hesitate to ask for more info if needed!

KeymasterHi Rich,
the plugin already comes set up like that. If you want to restrict users to only their own stats, thus hiding other users’ stats, then you should have a look at the Permissions box in the Options page (the first two entries in particular). 🙂Have a nice day,

KeymasterHi Michael,
Where i could set minimum threshold for author ?
There’s no such feature actually. You may have a look at the Request Payment addon, it could be useful for that 🙂
How your plugin handle last published articles visitors ?
Could you elaborate a little more? Maybe our tutorial Pay writers per visit could be helpful to you 🙂
Don’t hesitate to ask for more info!

KeymasterHi Micheal,
yes, it does. As long as Google Analytics is correctly set up to log visits on AMP pages, they will show up in Post Pay Counter stats as well. 🙂There should be no problems with WP Super Cache as well.

KeymasterHi John,
I am frankly a bit clueless…What is weird is that
[11-Jul-2017 09:07:50 UTC] RETURN FLATTENED
Is not really an error at all, it seems something caused by some third party service/packet/plugin. I would suggest asking your host if they have any clue. Also, if it were my server, I would run a search in ALL files on the server for RETURN FLATTENED (In Ubuntu, there’s Searchmonkey), hoping to find a clue in some file.
Let me know how this goes!

KeymasterHi there,
sorry for the delay, I was on holiday. What currency are you trying to pay with? Is it your main currency, both for the sender and the receiver?
Have a nice day,

KeymasterHi Robert,
what do you mean? You can retrieve data for past days through the apt Update data feature in the Google Analytics/Adsense Status box in the Options page, if this can help. Otherwise, could you detail some more on what you would need? 🙂Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterHi Vishal,
