KeymasterCiao Francesco,
Aiuta?
Buona serata,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterHi Ritesh,
My website has about 500-700 active users at all times (as per Google Analytics), and I have about 20000 Post from 1000+ authors.
This should be fine, I have seen the plugin active on bigger sites. I would just not advise to try to load stats for the whole 20k posts all together as it may definitely gets slow, but any big subset of it should be fine 🙂
1. I have connected the app with Google Analytics but the wordpress dashboard gets very slow. First I tried to update with all time stats, but when it got messy (incorrect data), I reset to update google analytics data submit to pull for 1 month. Even then the site got slow.
Also the website started showing “Error Time Out” for normal visitors. It can get slow, but only while the Analytics rows are being processed. You can lower the impact this has on site performance by lowering the number of rows that get processed for each page load (this is in Options > Google Analytics Options). The number of pending rows is shown in the Google Analytics Status box: you may notice the site being slower on the first import, but as soon as all rows are cleared, it should be back to normal. This should only happen with the first import, because subsequent incremental updates are much lighter. Also, rows are processed only on admin page loads, so if it affects the frontend as well it’s a sign that the server is being slowed down too much, I’d advise lowering the number of rows to be processed per page load 🙂
2.
The incorrect data is a bit confusing. In stats, the users Written Posts are not showing properly. I have few author with 2000+ posts but it shows 1200 posts for them. Also, for the rest the post count is wrong, and very random.Uhm, this is very weird. Are all the posts real posts, or are there some Custom Post Types as well? Can you double check the stats time range is correct with regards to your expectations?
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterIssued a full refund!
Stefano
KeymasterNo worries, I will issue a full refund by tomorrow 🙂
Stefano
KeymasterUhm, could you please try to deactivate all other plugins that have a front-end impact and try again? Just for a second to see if it’s a conflict with something else 🙂 let me know!
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterI’ve set the time range to the same window (April) for each test.
Please notice that the time range in stats only affects what posts are displayed depending on their publication date, but doesn’t affect the visits data that is displayed. Can you confirm that, when talking about the same time window, you are not referring to this? The Analytics time window is set through the Analytics Update data feature. Does this make sense to you? 🙂
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterSuper glad to hear that! 🙂

KeymasterHey Paul,
sorry for the delay! For the shortcode, again there is a tutorial here 🙂 Basically, the shortcode to display the current author stats is [ppc author="current"] while for a specific author, given its ID, is [ppc author=3] for example.
Let me know if you still want the refund even with the shortcode working 🙂 I realize the plugin can be a bit difficult at first, but that is to guarantee maximum flexibility and accommodate all needs different websites may have.
Have a nice day,

KeymasterHi Paul,
I’d advise having a look at our Tutorials section, in particular to the Google Analytics setup one 🙂Let me know!

KeymasterHi there,
for the payment history shortcode, I realize it may be a naive question, but in the code you posted you are missing quotes in the do_shortcode() call. Can you confirm this is not the case for real? 🙂For the post_images column not showing, can you confirm that the Images payment criteria is active in the plugin settings (and even for the particular author in question, should they have personalized settings)?
I was also wondering if I can change the titles “Visits”, “Total Pay” and “Due Pay” to something else?
There are two filters that you may want to hook up to:
ppc_author_stats_format_stats_after_cols_defaultandppc_general_stats_format_stats_after_cols_default(located in PPC_generate_stats::format_stats_for_output(), in classes/ppc_generate_stats_class.php, for reference). These should allow you to tweak all columns – as long as you leave the array indexes unchanged, you should be able to change the column labels without creating any issues. They apply, respectively, to the general stats page (i.e. all authors shown) and to the author stats pages (i.e. one specific author, all their posts) 🙂Hope this helps!
Have a nice day,

KeymasterHi Charles,
no, it cannot be used for that. However, even without the addon you can already set a minimum visits threshold per post, or a minimum total payment threshold. I don’t know if these can be used to achieve your goals 🙂Stefano
KeymasterHi Jason,
of course numbers need to match! Have you already used the Update data feature in the Analytics Status box? In case, did you pick a starting point that matches the time frame you are selecting on the Google Analytics dashboard and against which you are making the comparison? Also, to make sure the plugin is working as expected, it is better to compare single posts rather than aggregate totals per author 🙂Let me know!
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterYou are very welcome, let me know if you manage to get the issue fixed! 🙂
Stefano
KeymasterOh sorry, I think there was a misunderstanding here. I meant that you should contact the theme support team – because you are the one who owns it and bought it 🙂
Stefano
KeymasterHi Charles,
the plugin can easily be adapted to do that. Videos will still count as a post (if they are a Custom Post Type, they can be included in stats anyway), and you can pay for them using the Basic Payment criteria. I’d advise you to play around with the free version and see how it can be adapted to your needs (because I am quite sure it can) 🙂 of course we are always available for doubts and questions!Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterHi Karel,
I have created a new Volume discount that applies a 20% discount on more than 6 products – that should be more significant 🙂I can send you an invoice after purchase – just contact me by email by replying to the purchase receipt you will get.
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterI would reach the support team of theme, reporting your findings (mention that it works with the standard theme) and maybe ask if they are aware of this fact 🙂
Stefano
KeymasterOne thing you could try is change line 77 in ppc-buddypress/ppc-buddypress.php, which should be this:
add_action( 'init', array( __CLASS__, 'add_nav_items' ) );to this
add_action( 'bp_setup_nav', array( __CLASS__, 'add_nav_items' ) );Let me know if that works. Otherwise, I guess the best thing would be to reach out to them and ask for support. You can try to switch to a default WordPress theme (like TwentyEighteen or anything similar) to see that the Post Pay Counter BuddyPress addon works as expected… 🙂
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterHi Anas,
I think the problem is the BuddyPress theme you are using, that probably does not allow custom tabs. What is it?Have a nice day,
StefanoApril 21, 2019 at 9:27 am in reply to: i can't see the Referral Visits counts on the stats table #64581Stefano
KeymasterHi Wesley,
the referral visits are still counted even after payment, and they show up in the Total payment column. However, they don’t increment the Due payment column 🙂Have a nice day,
