KeymasterHi Davide,
we have seen that issue already and have had a hard time figuring out the cause. Deactivating the plugin, hitting the update button, and reactivating again should fix the issue ๐A nice day,

KeymasterHi Quang,
yes, the addon Category Custom Settings provides exactly that feature ๐Category Custom Settings – Set up special settings for categories

KeymasterHi Warren,
we don’t have any native support for crypto platforms. You could use the PayPal email field (or any other custom profile field) to store a crypto account number, maybe in the form of a fake email, and then pay out authors manually. Would that work?A nice day,

KeymasterHi Hassan,
the way visits are counted depends entirely on the service you use (Google Analytics, Slimstats, WP Postviews, etc), and I cannot thus provide specific details. I believe most of them are keen on avoiding double visits or users cheating anyway.A nice day,

KeymasterUhm, that is very odd. I see it has been activated on one website already so the license is clearly working. Are you running updated versions of both Post Pay Counter and Post Pay Counter PRO on the second website, and are both plugins installed and active in your WP plugin dashboard?

KeymasterWhat is the license key you are trying to activate? Post it as private.

KeymasterAfter much troubleshooting, I must say I am not able to provide a fix to the issue while at the same time retaining all the features as they are now. I am almost certain that the issue is due to the combination of these two factors:
1. Publisher Bonus awarding a bonus not only per publishing, but also depending on the posts’ length (at least for some user roles)
2. Publisher Bonus settings being different per user/per user role.I have detailed the issue in this page, but it looks like you are still experiencing it even after the latest update, so I am unsure. We should probably simply take away the feature I mentioned in point 1., given its hard to predict results.
My suggestion is to simplify your setup, avoiding special bonuses depending on payment criteria, but only awarding payment per publishing. I understand this might cause you issues and I apologize for that, but there doesn’t seem a way to have the addon work correctly while retaining the current setup :/

KeymasterSorry for the delay – I looked, and I still don’t know exactly what is wrong. I have to look again. Do you have any information that could be useful for me to understand? Like, is this a recent issue? Did it start after some change? When did you notice it first?

KeymasterThanks, I’ll have a look and let you know!

KeymasterUhm, that’s weird – I thought that exact issue had been fixed in version 1.8 https://postpaycounter.com/fixed-a-publisher-bonus-issue-with-complex-settings-setups/ !
Can you confirm that the issue goes away if you deactivate the Publisher Bonus addon?
Would it be possible for me to have a look personally with a temporary admin account?

KeymasterHi Audai,
what version of the Publisher Bonus addon are you using?A nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterHi Audai,
if you are using the shortcode you should disable the setting Counting Settings > Referral visits > Show referral link in public post page ๐A nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterHi Mitra,
the code is already open source, so you can edit it freely. You can try to reduce the amount of posts to be loaded by selecting a smaller time range in the stats page ๐A nice day,

KeymasterHi there,
can you take a screenshot of the checkout page please?A nice day,

KeymasterHi,
what error do you get? ๐A nice day,

KeymasterHi Aditya,
data is fetched from Analytics and then stored locally in the database. It is then updated daily with new data.About GA4, it is something I have to check. It is not clear whether GA4 plans not to have Adsense linking at all, or if it will be coming in the next few months (from Google’s side). So at this moment I am 95% sure that Adsense will not work properly if the website property you want to use is GA4 (but should work fine with Analytics alone). Feel free to purchase PRO, try integrating it with Analytics, and ask for a refund if it doesn’t work with your current setup ๐

KeymasterHi Omar,
in general, no. However, depending on what visits counting method you are using (Google Analytics, Slimstats, etc) there might be specific ad-hoc solutions. If you are using Google Analytics, revoking the authorization from the plugin settings will result in all visits data being deleted. However, if you revoke the authorization from your own Google settings, thus breaking the plugin’s authorization, this should result in no new data being imported, with the past data being left untouched. I say “should” because I have never tried this and it is of course not a “best practice”. You may also try to fiddle with the wp-cron event (named ppcp_analytics_data_update), and moving its next execution date 10 years from now. Don’t delete it though – it will be automatically recreated ๐
I don’t know for what purpose you would need to turn off new visits, but, as a side note, you may want to checkout the Exclude posts from stats after they are paid setting (bottom of Counting settings box).
Hope this helps!
A nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterYou will pay the difference between the plan you purchased and the plan to which you would like to upgrade to.
