KeymasterHi Vincent,
If you uncheck Pay only when payment total threshold is reachedz/em> in Post Pay Counter > Options > Counting settings > Total payment the problem should be solved ๐Stefano
KeymasterThe easiest things are often overlooked – even by the developer! The reason the user doesn’t show up is that he’s a subscriber, but in Post Pay Counter > Options > Miscellanea > Allowed user roles the contributor role is unchecked. I haven’t checked it as I don’t know if it is supposed to.
Let me know!
Have a nice day,

KeymasterHi Emma,
I’m having a look around – I created a post (not published though) and I’m gonna fiddle around with the plugin’s code with to get a glimpse of what on earth is going on. Just telling you so that if you see some weird debugging info… it’s just me, I’ll be as quick as I can (none of that will be public anyway, just the stats page will show data to me). Will keep you up!
Stefano
KeymasterI replied you by email ๐

KeymasterI, stef,
I have verified but it may be all setup are right. Do you want i create you an admin account to verify ?
Stefano
KeymasterHi Vincent,
are you sure the plugin options are correctly set up? I’d double check especially the Miscellanea box (user roles to be counted, post types to be counted).Does this help?
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterIs your site based on some custom post types?
spiritfly
KeymasterNo it doesn’t work in any other case. I have never seen it working not even in the version before the last update.
Stefano
KeymasterHi spiritfly,
do you ever get the chance of selecting a date in the date picker or it never works?I do plan to add un unpaid-posts view, but no idea of when that will be shipped to the public…
Have a nice day,

KeymasterYeah, revoking the plugin Analytics authorization and setting it up again should do the trick ๐
BJ
KeymasterFor me to have the ability to check once a day at say around noon for updated figures, should I reset the plugin around that time in the day?
Thanks!
Stefano
KeymasterIt happens every day at the same time, which is the time you authorized Analytics for the plugin. WP-Crontrol allows you to see cron jobs with their details (look for ppcp_analytics_data_update (I may be mistaken as the actual name, but it’s something similar to that anyway…))
Hope this helps.
BJ
KeymasterIt’s working now. It’s been updated once since I posted this. Just curious as to around what time that happens or is it random?
I guess I’m just looking for a time to instruct writers for the best time to check their stats.
Stefano
KeymasterAnalytics views should be updated once a day, taking the data from the day before. Isn’t it working?
Have a nice day,
StefanoBJ
KeymasterHow long on average does it take for stats to populate.
I’m now formally testing out the system and brought on writer to test it out, who posted 5 stories yesterday and all his stories collectively have about 1,000 views according to Analytics but your counter still says 0 for all of the posts.
Thanks!
Stefano
KeymasterThat’s a nice idea. I’ve taken a note. No idea of when this may be implemented, but it’s on my list now ๐
Stefano
KeymasterDelighted to know, thanks! ๐
a
