Okay, apparently numbers are fine now. I simply made a manual data update. Can you check?

thanks for the login. As far as I can see, all posts have visits, so I don’t understand how the plugin can have stopped counting them. Can you help me understand?Data is being correctly updated every day. It may be a misconfiguration problem, make sure settings are all correct. StefanoDon’t edit plugin classes (or your changes will be overwritten by future updates), instead write a new plugin.
Basically, you need to have 3 functions:
- A function that calls
$ppc_global_settings[‘counting_types_object’]->register_counting_type( $your_counting_type )
and defines the new payment criteria. - A function that counts characters given a post
- A function that computes the payment given the number of characters
An example of functions 1 and 3 is given at the bottom of the tutorial. Does it make sense? You can have a look at ppc_counting_types_class and ppc_counting_stuff_class to see how native payment criteria work (payment criteria = counting type in the language of the plugin).

I’m terribly sorry about that! In past releases I though I had disabled the redirect, but clearly there’s something I missed. I get different results on different websites when I update PPC in my sites, so it’s quite tricky to troubleshoot. StefanoMake sure you are running latest versions of both plugins (if I’m not mistaken it should be PPC 2.517 and PRO 1.5.9.3).
If no updates are available, you probably have two License status boxes in the Options page. Try them both 🙂Let me know if you still have problems!

StefanoMmm that’s weird… There was a bug exactly as you described but was fixed versions ago… Could I ask you for a temp admin account so I can personally look into the issue?
Could I have a temp administration account so I can see if it’s a real bug or just some kind of misconfiguration? You can post credentials in a post and mark the reply as private through the apt check box. Thanks.

the stats date picker allows to select dates back in time where there are published posts. If you can’t select a date earlier than Jun 20th it’s probably because there are no published posts from allowed content types to be displayed. Could this be?Have a nice day,

The problem was that general settings had restricted permissions (which prevented users from seeing payment features, which is good), but no user had personalized settings nor admins were set to override all permissions.
I’ve personalized permissions for username admin, but if you need all admins to see payment features you may check Admins override all permissions in the Miscellanea box 🙂 - A function that calls
