KeymasterHey, if you don’t like our policy, just don’t use our products!
The fact that licenses work this way is stated clearly both in the Installation section of the addon your puchased and in the License notes page. It’s true that plugins hosted on the WordPress.org repository need to have all their functions working and unlocked, but this is not a plugin hosted on WordPress.org.
Anyway, I’ve just issued a full refund.
And thanks for opening a topic with a misleading title. GPL provides “CONDITIONS FOR COPYING, DISTRIBUTION AND MODIFICATION”, not for how the software should be. You still have access to the source, so nothing against the GPL here. Not to mention the fact that GPL is for free software, and addons areย clearly not free software.

KeymasterThanks for the suggestion! ๐

KeymasterHi Steven,
yes, the Publisher Bonus addon considers a post as published both when the publish button is hit and when it is scheduled for the future ๐Stefano

KeymasterHi there,
I don’t know your specific theme, but there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work with it! ๐Have a nice day,

KeymasterHi there,
I usually don’t have Skype open unless I know I have some appointment or something, so you’d better reach me by email (or write here, for which I receive an email, which is the same). You can write at webmaster [at ] postpaycounter [dot ] com ๐Have a nice day,

KeymasterOkay, that was actually a bug I though I had fixed several versions ago but don’t know why was still there.
Thanks for reporting and sorry for the hiccup, I’ve fixed it on your site and the total due payment is now correct! ๐March 14, 2016 at 7:09 pm in reply to: Different due amounts on general statistics page and author statistics page #50260Stefano
KeymasterThanks. Can you please point out what stats differ? Because I look at general stats and totals shown at the bottom of author detailed stats and they’re the same.

KeymasterPlease just try again. It may have been some temporary issue with the database or something ๐

KeymasterHowever, it still doesnโt show up in the AddOns page. It just says โArrayโ
This is a known issue with the free version that will ve fixed in next release. However, that page only shows a list of available addons, just as this page does, there are no PRO features in there ๐

KeymasterHi Steven,
no that’s not possible (at least for now). Publisher Bonus only allows you to reward authors basing on the number of posts they publish.Have a nice day,

KeymasterHi Steven,
have you activated your license? You need to input the license key you received by email in the License Status box in the Options page ๐Have a nice day,

KeymasterLet’s do this way: open the detailed stats page for the author with the issue, selecting the correct time frame. When you see stats you want me to see, under the button to update the time range there’s the link get the permalink for the view: copy it and post it here. Thanks.

KeymasterOkay, I’m an admin now. However, I looked at stats and couldn’t fine user the Alex you mentioned in your first post. Could you guide me through?
Stefano
KeymasterI’ve emailed you ๐

KeymasterGood news: the update is finally over, all rows have been updated! ๐
Stefano
KeymasterThanks for your help so far. The numbers for the visits are coming in but way too slow. Wโve already missed payment deadline for last month and I cant afford for this to drag on for too long.
Okay, I’m trying to get the issue solved as quickly as possible. However, apparently your server isn’t very powerful, so I can only let the plugin process few rows at a time and often need it to break for fear of timeout. Any timeout requires the import to start again from the beginning.
Would this problem be solved if we forget about Analytics and just use the wordpress counter? What are the advantages/disadvantages? If this is a solution then would it be something you can help us implement.
If with wordpress counter you mean Jetpack, then PPC PRO isn’t compatible with Jetpack (it’s mostly due Jetpack limitations). The worst thing is the first import, but after that, when data will be updated daily, there will should be no problem (even with 10 rows imported per time, 2-300 rows are dealt with quite quickly).
And on a separate note, our site is counting on your plugin to help us achieve alot this year so we would be open to having an exclusive support window with you which we can pay for. Is this something youโd be interested in?
Yes, I’m available for that. What would you need me to do?
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterI’ll personally take care of having analytics rows all imported by today, I’ll let you know. Please don’t change PPC settings meanwhile.
Stefano
KeymasterOkay, I got the problem: it’s that the site goes down while processing Analytics data.
If the site goes down while Analytics rows are being processed, it is a problem. I’ll try to implement mechanisms that help preserving the integrity of data, but some data will always be lost if in the middle of processing the whole thing stops and goes down with no notice. What I’ve now done is I’ve really lowered your “Rows to process per page load” in Analytics settings (it was 1000, it’s 20 now, but this way we should be fairly sure the server can handle it) and made a new manual import. This will take some time before all rows are dealt with and updated, but don’t hurry it (a bunch of rows is updated every time plugin pages are visited by any user). I advise you to leave the rows to process low even in the future. Let me know how it goes! ๐
Also, while troubleshooting, I enabled Analytics debug in PPC PRO – you can now delete the file post-pay-counter-pro/temp/ppcp_ga.log.
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterStill something wrong, wait…
