KeymasterGlad you made it!
1) you can easily do that by going to the stats page of an author and selecting a starting time which coincides with the opening of your blog. Do you need a public page or something different from the standard approach?
2) you can set an upper bound on the number of visits that will be paid, but not stop the counting after a certain time. I can add the feature for you for little money as long as it is not too urgent (as I said, on holiday right now) and it is fine for you that the feature will be shipped to all users when it will be available. Let me know know this.
I hope I have covered all your questions, feel free to ask more.
Kyle
KeymasterI now have this working.
I have 2 more requests:
1. Is it possible for a stats page for an author to display all of their posts and how much they are due?
2. Is it possible to only pay for views for a certain time frame?I ask this because:
1. We only pay authors by views OR by words. We want authors to see what they are due, but they do not have the sidebar option for Post Pay Counter.
2. We only pay our writers for the first 30 days of views that they accumulate after posting it, so we only want the counter to track how many visits they get in the first 30 days of posting it.If you are able to do this for me, and you require money, please get in touch as I would be open for discussion as we need this functionality.

KeymasterI emailed you the pro zip. Let me know.

KeymasterI have version Installed version: 2.1.2 of the free plugin but when I scroll down I don’t see a field for the key

KeymasterI am on holiday now, only have my smartphone, is it an urgent matter or can you want until the weekend? As for jetpack, anyway, you should ask them what postmeta they use to store visits.
Bye,

KeymasterAs of now, if a counting type is disabled, its column doesn’t show up in the stats table.
Could you please enable WP_Debug and see if any errors show up while requesting past visits data? (I am leaving for holiday today, so expect me to be less quick in replying)
Kyle
KeymasterUpdate: Getting this message when trying to submit for last 30 days of visit data
Error: could not update Google Analytics visits records.
Kyle
KeymasterAwesome, thank you.
Is there a way to show visits on an authors stats page even if they don’t get paid for visits? I’d like to see this all in one place regardless of them being paid for visits.
Stefano
KeymasterAlso, don’t forget to tick “Visits contribute to payment computation” in the Counting Settings box and, under that, to use Analytics as counting method.
Stefano
KeymasterThis is how you do it: go to the plugin Options page and look for the box named “Google Analytics Settings” (should be on the right, you may have to scroll). Authorize the plugin by following the instructions contained therein.
After that, if you want the plugin to only use visits from today on, then you are done; if you want past visits data as well, you can use the “Update Google Analytics data” feature and input the number of days in the past you would like the visits for.
Whatever choice you make, from the time the plugin is activated on, Analytics data are updated daily.
Hope this helps.

KeymasterWe have analytics code in all of our pages, how does this link to the plugin to pay per view?

KeymasterLa localizzazione anche per la versione gratuita è in dirittura d’arrivo 🙂
Stefano
KeymasterHello Cedric,
from what versions to what versions did you update?Stefano
KeymasterCiao Gianni,
Buona giornata,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterHere the video I talked about, hope it helps.
Stefano
KeymasterI am afraid there’s no way to do that. In what scenarios would that be useful to you?
Stefano
KeymasterHello Kyle,
thanks for buying! If you look at the features list, PayPal is not among them. Due to techincal issues, I have not been able to integrate in in the plugin. You can mark posts and whole authors as paid, but not through a PayPal payment. Does this clear your question out?
As for Analytics, the plugin does not act as a tracker, it only uses Analaytics data if there are any. You first need a tracker plugin that allows you to put in your accounts code in all your blog’s pages, like Yoast’s one.
I will record a video in the afternoon to show off all PRO features and how they work. However, if you want a refund, I can issue a full one.
Have a nice day,
Stefano -
