KeymasterYou are absolutely welcome! Just refresh a couple of times the plugins list page, it should show up.

KeymasterThank you for your reply! Your assistance has been wonderful. WordPress says my plugins are up to date running 1.14, how do I update?
Stefano
KeymasterI just pushed version 1.15 which fixes a problem in Analytics (allows you to revoke Analytics authorization even if the authorization process was not sucessful). I advise you to update first, and then try again.
PS. The warnings have been fixed as well, even though they showed up in very peculiar situation.
Stefano
KeymasterI deactivated the license for you, try again now. Thanks for reporting the warnings.
I edited your post and removed your email address.

KeymasterI have deleted PRO and reinstalled it and it still will not accept the key. The URL is http://kingoftheblog.com and my email is ***@gmail.com incase it didn’t release the key when I deauthorized it. Thank you for your reply.
On an unrelated note, when I activate PRO I get this
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/webspace/public_html/kingoftheblog.com/wp-content/plugins/post-pay-counter-pro/post-pay-counter-pro.php:468) in /home/webspace/public_html/kingoftheblog.com/wp-includes/option.php on line 563

Only PRO causes that, the free version didn’t.
Thank you for the help!

KeymasterHello Devon,
please try to uninstall the plugin (Plugins > Post Pay Counter PRO > Delete) and install at again. let me know if the license and the Analytics authorization work then.Stefano
KeymasterYes, that’s ok. It’s not at the top of my to-do list (the Analytics update frequency is far more important) but I acknowledge it would be useful.
Stefano
KeymasterYes, I already planned to add that but I have been busy with other Analytics issues.
It’s always better to avoid editing plugin’s code directly, also because the update routines of future releases may find unexpected data/behaviour and may get stuck. Anyway, you can tweak the scheduled event using WP Crontrol, the event is called ppcp_cron_ga_daily_update until the native feature won’t be available.
Analytics requests are probably the heaviest thing the plugin does. The request in itself usually takes around a whole second, and then the plugin has to go through all the returned rows and update each post meta. If you have a big database, I would argue that daily update provides the best performance with a reasonable lag, but you are absolutely free to experiment with different frequencies and see what suits you best.
Hope I have been clear!
Stefano
KeymasterThat’s music to my ears!

KeymasterAnalytics now works well. Thanks alot for the quick reply.
Stefano
KeymasterHello Favourite,
please update to PRO version 1.14, it solved a bug in the Analytics’ auto-update.
Stefano
KeymasterHello William,
Didn’t you get the email with the license key and the download link?William
KeymasterNeed a pro zip plugin! I just pay the pro plugin!
Stefano
KeymasterHello Favourite,
please update Post Pay Counter to version 2.21 and PRO to 1.13 (first
the free, then the PRO). I just pushed these update, and even though they might solve the problem, they log any errors Analytics may encounter. After updating, please try again to pull data from Analytics (if you were trying to do so) or wait another day so that it will pull data from the day before and check if the error log in the options page display any error. Please report them all (either here or via email). Thanks!
Stefano
Keymaster1) and they can’t access administration, can they? What about using the shortcode?
3) it should update every day (the precise time depends on your site). If it isn’t please post your system info from the plugin.
Kyle
Keymaster1. Yeah, we basically want our contributors to see a page which lists their posts and how much they’ve earnt, similar to an admin clicking on a writers name. This is quite urgent as contributors cant edit posts in wordpress, meaning they cant see the widget on the right.
2. I will contact you now.
3. Posting this for the public to see – how often does Google Analytics update into the plugin? A few of my new writers are sitting on $0 but I know they’ve been getting traffic?
Stefano
Keymaster1) The stats page can be made visible to any user role you want, maybe setting permissions as to prevent users from seeing anything but their own stats. Would this work?
2) That’s ok, you can reach me through the contact form.
Kyle
Keymaster1. We want authors and contributors to be able to see their own stats in list format for their posts (similar to when clicking on an author in the admin part of post pay counter stats)
2. Yes we want to stop it after a certain time and will pay.
What is your e-mail address to discuss further on?
Stefano
KeymasterGlad to hear it!
Michelle Harlow
