Keymasterhow about show just only number of total and due pay ?
Stefano
KeymasterOh no, that shouldn’t be put in header.php, but in a post/page as its text. Head over to Posts > Add new > paste the string > Publish π

KeymasterHi Stafano,
Thanks for your thoughts. Yeah a link would work well.
Cheers,
Ben

KeymasterHi Ben,
calculating the Total payment for all time would require the plugin to compute stats for all time, even if stats for just one day are requested. I believe this would be a huge waste of resources and of loading time, so I really don’t think I’m ever gonna add it, sorry πWhat I will do is add a link that allows to easily select all-time stats, so that getting to them is easier than manually selecting the time range.
Have a nice day and always thanks for your feedback,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterI think what you’re looking for is using the shortcode
[ppc author="current"]
Just paste that string in a new post/page and publish it, and each user who accesses the page will see their own stats displayed. If that’s not what you need, please provide some more details π

KeymasterHi Stafano,
An addition to this would be total revenue earned, regardless of whether or not it had been paid.
Thanks again,
Ben

KeymasterHi Stefano,
Thanks for this info and recommendation.
I was unaware that a built-in counter could be deceived easily. I was thinking it would be nice to have a built-in counter as a backup in case of any changes or problems with Google Analytics but I see what you are saying for sure.
Thanks for all you great development and support.
Cheers,
Ben

KeymasterHi Fris,

KeymasterThank you
Stefano
KeymasterI’ll see what I can do in future releases π

KeymasterYou are right it’s solved, thank you, but a way to know the number of published posts in given date would be great
Stefano
KeymasterCheck your user permissions in the plugin settings, there’s an apt check box for marking as paid features π
jorgeocampo
KeymasterGlad to know it’s already implemented, but I must be missing something, can’t find where or how to mark an author as paid
Stefano
KeymasterNono that’s already implemented, have you tried out the flow I’ve written above? π
jorgeocampo
KeymasterYes, that is what we are looking for
It’s already on your code or you have to make some changes?Stefano
KeymasterActually, I’ve just looked at the code and what you ask could be achieved for publishings. I’ll have to think about it for a while because it would be the only payment type of which data would respond to date range changes.
My idea was simply this: every month, you mark an author as paid. This way, the publishings counter doesn’t get reset, but the due payment does go to zero, and next month data will shop up in the due payment.
Suppose we have this scenario: you pay $.25 per publishing. User George publishes 3 posts in May, 2 in June and 5 in July.
- At May 31st, you see 3 publishings have been counted: both the Total Payment and the Due Payment display $.75. You mark him as paid: all data stays the same but the Due Payment which goes to $0.
- At June 31st, you see 5 publishings counted: the Total Payment is $1.25 but the Due Payment is just $.50. You mark him as paid again.
- Ay July 31st, you see 10 publishings, with Total Payment being at $2.50 and the Due Payment at $1.25.
Does this help?
Have a nice day,
Stefanojorgeocampo
KeymasterI mean, how can we know how many “other peopleβs posts” were published by that editor this month?
