KeymasterHi Fris,
1. I do plan to add pagination to the admin stats page, that’s on my to do list (I still haven’t done it cause it requires a lot of work). As for the short code public stats, I frankly don’t know (if and) when you’d be able to see ๐2. you can find the css files in the /style folder of the plugin.
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterThanks. You can write me at support[ @]thecrowned[ dot].org ๐
JD Sullivan
KeymasterI can create a temp admin for you. What is your email address so I can set it up? If you cannot post it here, you can shoot me a message to my email address listed in this form.

Keymasterthanks , it’s really help ๐

KeymasterI get what you need, but I have a couple questions:
-
how should the plugin handle the following situation?
Bob writes two posts, one on 31st December, the other 1st January, but hasn’t written anything in the periods 15-31 December and 1-15 January. Suppose you asked to only count one post each 13 days.
What does it mean the author is supposed to post once every 13 days? That he needs to let 13 days pass by before publishing another content? (in the example, this would mean, that one post gets “lost”) Or that, overall, when he’s gonna be paid, he should not have written more posts than the “allowed” number? (which would make him earn money for both posts above) - Also, what happens to possible over-the-threshold posts? Do they just get forgotten, or if an author writes twice in one 13 days period and nothing in another, he can get paid for the bonus one of the first period?
Thanks for your feedback!
Stefano
KeymasterWhat you’re saying is interesting, and is certainly worth considering. It would just be like combining the two payment systems that are already available, so that you can set up zones and inside each of them select if you want a fixed payment of an incremental one. Will think about this, thanks for suggesting!
Have a nice day,

KeymasterThat’s getting pretty weird… Would it be a problem for you to set me up a tempo admin account so that I can look into it directly myself?
JD Sullivan
KeymasterI have had it unchecked, but looked at again to make sure and nothing changes when it is unchecked. I tried setting the threshold to .01, I tried setting it to 0, and to .00001, none of those allowed for any stats to show up. I tried to view just stats for the admin, that did not result in any stats showing up. I have per post set at .01 and I have a post that has been published under admin, after I made this setting. It should be showing at least .01 earned for the post, but it is not.
Stefano
KeymasterWell, because there’s not much to save, is there? ๐
The features that can show up there are the payment bonus and the post exclusion from stats. For the first one, make sure that in Post Pay Counter > Miscellanea > Payment bonus the checkbox Enable payment bonus is ticked.
Then for both of them you need to have permissions: head to Personalize Settings > Administrator > Your username > Permissions and make sure the two last checkboxes are ticked.Does this help?
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterOh right: what you’re looking for is in Counting Settings > Total Payment > Pay only when the total payment threshold is reached. Try to uncheck it and see if it works ๐
Stefano
KeymasterHi JD,
you’re not the first to ask for this, so yes I guess I’ll definitely consider implementing this feature ๐Have a nice day,
StefanoJD Sullivan
KeymasterOk I think I found part of the problem. I had changed the variables for what people get paid for. So I added “Basic Assured Payment” to .01 and posted an test article to see if it would make it so stats would show up for that. Now the stats page says “No posts reach the threshold.”
How do I make adjustments to the threshold amount?
JD Sullivan
KeymasterI went to Post pay Counter> Options> Personalize Settings > Administrator > JD Sullivan > Permissions > tick them all > Save Settings.
Then when I go to the stats page, even viewing the past year during which we have had posts by people with the Post pay Counter enabled, nothing shows up.
Stefano
KeymasterI’ve just implemented it, you’ll see it in PPC v. 2.503 ๐
Stefano
Keymasterbecause it appears that the general settings would apply to everyone across the board, but I am realizing that this might not be the case
No, that’s exactly how it works! So my point was, although I realize I may have not been wholly clear: go to Personalize Settings > Administrator > Your username > Permissions > tick them all > Save Settings. Then check if stats show up correctly.
JD Sullivan
KeymasterI am having trouble understanding.
Are you saying that the settings box, we see when we first log in is only for general permissions? And then we need to have settings for each user name set as well and that the only ones that will work in the user names are the ones that have permissions set in that first box?
I think that this needs to be more clear in the interface, because it appears that the general settings would apply to everyone across the board, but I am realizing that this might not be the case. Part of what is confusing is that the wording is the same in the permissions box and in the personalized settings per user. I think that different wording would make the distinction more clear.
I will try selecting all on the first general page and then unselecting with the individual users. This is a rahter tedious solution because there is no sense that it will actually solve it, but I will give it a try. One question, is that even if I am selecting/deselecting… will I see the results for each user? Given that no traffic to their posts is likely to be going on or maybe their post is not earning from adsense duringthe testing period. Again, this is going to be very time consuming to sort it out, I fear.
Stefano
KeymasterHi JD,
really thanks for your appreciation! As for your issue, I think the problem is that your user (Personalize settings box > Your user name, if that’s not there then fallback to general settings) doesn’t have the right permissions. Make sure you have them all checked, and then maybe try to deselect them one by one to understand which ones you want to have and which ones are not needed.
Does this help?Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterTry this one out:
[ppc exclude="author_adsense_revenues, author_id, author_name, author_words, author_visits, author_basic_payment, author_images, author_comments, author_written_posts"]Ben
KeymasterThanks Stafano,
That’s awesome.
Cheers,
