KeymasterI’m now going through and deleting plugins and trying to delete yours and start over and I’m getting this error message now:
Warning: scandir(temp/ga): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/wp_zf5swj/theurbantwist.com/wp-content/plugins/post-pay-counter-pro/classes/ppcp_google_analytics_class.php on line 554

Warning: array_diff(): Argument #1 is not an array in /home/wp_zf5swj/theurbantwist.com/wp-content/plugins/post-pay-counter-pro/classes/ppcp_google_analytics_class.php on line 554
Fatal error: Call to undefined method PPCP_license::license_deactivate() in /home/wp_zf5swj/theurbantwist.com/wp-content/plugins/post-pay-counter-pro/uninstall.php on line 86
Maybe these error messages is the reason why things won’t update.

KeymasterI just deactivated all my plugins except yours and it still doesn’t do anything.

KeymasterI have no clue as I have done this before in resetting stats.
It just stopped working.
Do you know how to find out if plugin is conflicting?
Stefano
KeymasterOkay, I’m quite confused. Apparently, visits data is still in the database (I can read it) but cannot be deleted nor changed. So I’m quite sure this must have something to do with your own unique server configuration. Have you ever been able to erase visits data? I mean, did it stopped working or it just never worked? My only advice is to make sure nothing can be conflicting with plugins interacting with the MySQL database… Do you have any clue?
Stefano
KeymasterGreat, glad to know it finally! 🙂
Have a great day,
StefanoJohn
KeymasterHi Stefano,
Thank you. Clearing those old metadata settings worked.
Now I see visit data!
I have 60 days set in the GA settings box
Thank you.
John
Stefano
KeymasterGotcha! Will let you know 🙂
Brennen
KeymasterCheck your spam folder if you haven’t received the reset link.
Brennen
KeymasterDone!
Stefano
KeymasterTry to erase anything that maybe written in the postmeta value field, even if the field is not selected.
Do you have a visit time limit set in the analytics settings box?John
KeymasterSorry Stefano,
still getting the error message “The specified visits callback returned NULL for a random post – are you sure it is correct?” when saving “Counting Settings”
New post V old post: something posted prior to installing the Pro version. Ie, past 90-daysThanks you
John
Stefano
KeymasterEvery day the plugin takes Analytics visits from the previous day on ALL blog pages and add them to already stored ones. What distinction do you exactly make between “new posts” and “old posts (being read)”?
Stefano
KeymasterThanks. You can send it over to support at thecrowned dot org.
John
KeymasterYes. All website data rather than the site name is correct.
But it’s only capturing page views for new posts, not old posts that are being read.
Sorry to be a bother.
Brennen
KeymasterYeah,
I’ve done this before without any problem so I don’t know why the stats won’t reset now.
There’s no errors in logs.
I’m using PRO version: 1.5.8.8
I can set you up with an Admin account.
What email address should I use to send you your password.
Your username will be “thecrowned”.
Stefano
KeymasterHi John,
Is the “all website data” option correct?
I guess so. If you want to be sure, go to your Analytics’ account settings and make sure all views/profiles have a correct name, and then try to set up the plugin again. 🙂
Have a nice day,
StefanoStefano
KeymasterHi Brenner,
Mmmm, both actions should clear past data… Any errors in the error log? What version are you running? Maybe could I have a temp admin account so I can personally look into this?Have a nice day,
StefanoBrennen
KeymasterI even revoked access but the views are still counting. Was hoping that everything would go back to 0.
John
KeymasterI went back and deleted reference to the Slimstat’s integration plugin and resaved again with GA selected and that cured the “The specified visits callback returned NULL for a random post – are you sure it is correct?” error message.
Is the “all website data” option correct?
Thanks,
John
Stefano
KeymasterProva a riassegnare i permessi di accesso alla pagina delle statistiche, basta che deselezioni e riselezioni i ruoli utente in Opzioni > Miscellanea > Permessi. Risolve?
