I have a non-admin user with the role “Users can mark posts as paid” but when they get to the confirmation page “ppcp-confirm-payment” they get this error:

“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

This seems to be a permissions bug with this add-on.

    Hi Nicholas,
do you have anything else that could be interfering? For example, in the past we found one plugin that allowed to reorder the admin menu entries created a conflict with the plugin. Do other pages work as expected? 🙂

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano

You’re right! We use Advanced Access Manager (AAM) to limit sidebar menus for users.

Taking a look, we found the user permission required is called “post_pay_counter_manage_options” in the AAM settings.

However, with the above permission enabled it allows the user to also see the “ppc-system-info” details. This system information should probably be separated into a different permission.

Great, so I guess it’s fixed now, isn’t it? 🙂

However, with the above permission enabled it allows the user to also see the “ppc-system-info” details. This system information should probably be separated into a different permission.

I see your point. Our thought was that anybody who is trusted to see and change payment options can also be trusted to see some system info, but I understand your concern. We may add a separate permission in future releases 🙂

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano
