I’m trying to understand, under counting options “Only show and pay per #% of visits (100 = all)” and what that means.

Also, I’m trying to figure out, since we plan on paying monthly, with having an incremental payment system set, and setting the visit threshold to 1000, why can people still see their post has money on it before reaching $1000, and it seemingly counts towards their monthly tally?

And is that visit threshold per post, or the totality of the posts a person views for a month?

Hi Amari, sorry for the delay.

“Only show and pay per #% of visits (100 = all)”

If you set that to 60, for example, and a post has received 200 views, then the author will only see and be paid for 60% of 200, which is 120.

setting the visit threshold to 1000, why can people still see their post has money on it before reaching $1000, and it seemingly counts towards their monthly tally?

Can you specify what option you have set to what value, so I can try to reproduce the issue (or clarify the behavior)?

And is that visit threshold per post, or the totality of the posts a person views for a month?

It is per post (and this applies to almost all thresholds in the plugin).

    Hope this helps! 🙂
    A nice day,
    Stefano

    Basic assured payment is checked
Visits Payment check (Visits contribute to payment computation)
Also checked: Use Google Analytics as visit counter, Use the incremental payment system

Can you specify what option you have set to what value, so I can try to reproduce the issue (or clarify the behavior)?

    Figured that would be simpler.

Thanks! Can you also show a picture of a post having less than 1000 visits, but non zero payment?

Next question, I’ve noticed there are check boxes next to the ones which qualify, so is it that the posts aren’t paid until they are checked off to? For the ones which make over 1000? Instead, it would just be the basic number for submitting a post?

Thanks for the screen captures. They do show the visits and basic payment, but not the total payment for each post. I would expect posts with less than 1000 visits to show $0 as total payment, even if the basic payment is $20. Is this not the case?

It should be in the other posts the information.

I just looked over February, and I’m wondering is there a specific setting I should turn off, on or change, or just tell people that the total views counts everything, but they are only being paid the incentive based on what is in the “Detailed” section.

Also, just to make sure the question isn’t lost amongst the many.

I’ve noticed there are check boxes next to the ones that surpass the view threshold, so is it that the posts aren’t paid until they are checked off to? For the ones which make over 1000? Instead, it would just be the basic number for submitting a post?

I’ll double check the threshold thing, there might be something wrong there. I’ll let you know.

I’m not sure I understand here. The box there is to mark as paid. Is something not clear about how payments work, or what else?

The link cleared that up. Do excuse the million and one questions. I know the people I’m about to hire may have questions, and I just want to understand everything.
