Hi,
I am trying to pay a balance that has been generated through adsense. The author that is due pay is me, the admin (I’m trying to test the PayPal setup). However, when I click confirm payment, although I have a Paypal email address linked to my user account, I get this error message :
“Error: no authors were selected for the payment. Notice that authors that don’t have a PayPal email address are skipped.”
Would you please help me resolve this issue?
Hi Ilen,
the error is likely caused by the fact that the user your are trying to pay has not entered their PayPal email, and so the plugin does not know who to send the money to.See the How to set users’ PayPal email addresses tutorial. You may also use users’ registration emails as PayPal ones: there’s an apt checkbox in the plugin PayPal settings box 🙂
