I have the PRO version and wanted to know if there’s a way to test this plugin. I mean I want to make sure that users will be awarded a portion of AdSense profit. I connected the plugin to Analytics and AdSense, but how to test?

what do you mean? You can retrieve data for past days through the apt Update data feature in the Google Analytics/Adsense Status box in the Options page, if this can help. Otherwise, could you detail some more on what you would need? 🙂Have a nice day,
StefanoOK, let me try to explain. I have made 6 cents in AdSens account. I know not much but I still have a site in development more. Now I go to Post Pay Counter and go to the Stats page. But I don’t see any author receiving any of the money. I see 1 author and it says $0.
I was expecting that the plugin stats page would tell me that I owe the author some money.
How can I troubleshoot this?

Please make sure you have correctly set up Adsense to work with the plugin as explained in this tutorial. You may want to pull data for past days through the Update data feature in the Google Analytics/Adsense Status box.
If revenues still don’t show up, notice that the plugin only shows revenues coming from pages and posts displayed in the stats page. This means that all revenue generated from banners in the homepage, or in category pages, etc, will not be shown in the plugin dashboard. With such a low income, it is likely that it’s mostly from non-post URLs. Could that be?

Okay – thanks for the video. What follows is a list of things
The fact that due payments are not all exact zeroes tells us that the plugins is working fine. It gathered some data – it may not be all of it, but it works. Figures in the Adsense column are rounded to 2 decimal digits, while the payment can be made as accurate as wished since you can customize che number of decimal digits to be shown.
Go to Options > Google Analytics/Adsense Status > Update data and pick a date a bit in the past. Choose the date back in the past enough so that all your revenues are included. For example, if you started earning money in June, pick June, 1st. Then hit Submit and refresh the page a couple times. The Pending rows counter should go to zero. Now visits the stats page and see if any more earnings are shown. By default, the plugin starts counting visits/revenues since the date it was installed – it requires manual intervention to get past data as well.
Also, as I said, I would not expect the plugin to report exactly 0.06$, because some of that will probably come from the homepage or archives pages, and that revenue cannot be assigned to any author in particular, so it is simply not included.
If you still see discrepancies even after manually fetching data as explained above, please look for discrepancies in specific posts, and not just the total, as it may not match the total earnings shown in Adsense for the reason I’ve said before 🙂

Choose between pageviews and unique pageviews (details in tooltips). After changing this, new data from Analytics will be pulled automatically.”It does affect revenue indeed. Unique pageviews are always lower than pageviews, so if you decide to go with them, visits numbers will be lower. This means displayed revenue will be lower, as it is calculated on visits numbers.

In my example:
Ads = 0.02$
Total Pay = 0.02$
Due Pay = 0.0179123Can you explain what the difference is between all 3 and why does Due Pay go so many decimal places back? If it was .01 I would understand that to mean 1 cent but it’s not like that.
Oh and this is information I’m seeing from the Stats page.

It’s a complex software that requires a bit of effort at the beginning, but I can guarantee you won’t regret it a few months down the road. It will just save you so much time and wasted energy! 🙂

It’s weird because they should all be rounded with the same precision… Can you check what you have in Options > Miscellanea > Stats display settings > Round to decimal digit #?
Anyway, Ads refers to revenue coming from Adsense. Total pay is just the same of all the previous revenue columns. You just have Ads, but you could also have Words, Visits and so on, and all those revenue would be summed up in the Total Pay column.
The Due pay column is a PRO feature – when you will mark an author or post as paid, the Due Pay will become zero, and will start increasing again with new, unpaid revenue. This way, if you mark as paid authors when you pay them, you will always have a clear nice clean amount of money that you should pay, without having to do the math of how much you have already paid and how much you still owe.

The round to decimal digit # is set to 2. Yes, I was also expecting this to be rounded to 2 decimal places.I see, I only have Ads activated so the Total Pay will always be the same as the Ads column because there’s only 1 column.
Now is Total Pay a running total, I mean this number never clears or goes down. It just adds each month on top of last month and always goes up?
From what I understand Due Pay is always going up until I mark it as paid and then it starts from 0, right?
Not sure if this is a bug or if I’m not doing something right. I wanted to display stats in the front end so I used 2 shortcodes. First one is for Stats for Current Month, the next one is Stats for Previous Month.

This is a subtle issue. The reason for it is that, if you look closely, quotes for the time_range parameter in the second shortcode are a bit curly – not like the ones of the other parameters.
Just use the following:

Shouldn’t be much of a concern. If you want, you can enable stats caching in the Miscellanea box of the Options (Performance section). This way, the impact will be less. However, provided you don’t have tons of users who are costantly looking at their stats, you shouldn’t notice that in terms of performance 🙂

No, the currency symbol does not show up in the front-end using shortcodes (See image displayed above) or in the back end stats page.
