    Hi Stefano,

    Firstly, thank you for developing such an awesome plugin. I purchased the pro version yesterday and have set everything up.

    I’m using Google Analytics to track page views but I’m looking to implement a backup tracking method.

    What plugin would you recommend to track page views and pass this information to Post Pay Counter?

    Also, is it possible to build tracking functionality into the plugin, as with Post Profit Stats?

    Hi Ben,
    so glad you’re liking the plugins!

    I’ve tested the plugin with two external visits counting plugins (WP-PostViews and Post Views Counter), and you can find the tutorial on setting them up with PPC here: http://www.thecrowned.org/pay-writers-per-visit-wordpress.
    Early versions of PPC did include an internal views counter, but why spend time on building a views counter that can surely be easily deceived by cleaning cookies when you can rely on way more professional tools such as Google Analytics? 🙂

    Thanks for this info and recommendation.

    I was unaware that a built-in counter could be deceived easily. I was thinking it would be nice to have a built-in counter as a backup in case of any changes or problems with Google Analytics but I see what you are saying for sure.
