    Hello,

I’m using post pay counter pro. For some reason, the main settings do not apply to all of the user accounts. I currently have the main settings configured to pay $.0125 per word, but it’s still showing my old rate of $.01 in the stats.

When I go to edit the settings for an individual user, it still shows $.01 but there seems to be a glitch where the individual user settings apply to the main admin account. I’ve included a link to some screenshots. As you can see, the URL displays the correct unique user ID, but the “currently editing” section still says “Nick Renn” which is the admin account and not the correct author’s name.

The only thing I can think of that might be causing it is that my admin account also creates posts on the site. Is that somehow throwing off the pay counter and settings? Would it be better to have the admin account strictly for managing settings and not create posts with that account?

    Let me know, thanks.

    Hi Antony,
that’s the strangest thing I’ve seen in months. Could I ask you to delete both user settings and see if setting them up anew makes the issue disappear? Let me know!

    Have a nice day,

    Hey Stefano,

Thank you for the reply. So when I went and deleted the individual user settings and it seemed to fix the problem. But then when I went to modify the admin account settings in order to view all other user’s data, the same problem came back.

So I tried creating a new admin account (without any posts) and downgraded the previous admin (the account with posts) to author status. The problem still persists.

For now, the overall settings seem to be applying to everyone, which is fine. But eventually I would like to be able to edit individual user settings with different pay rates, etc.

Do you have any other ideas as to what may be causing this? I can provide you some additional information about the website via email if needed.

Let me know, thanks for your time.

Yes please. Having temporary admin access to your site would be best, if possible. The email is support[ at] thecrowned [dot]org.

    Have a nice day,

    Hey Stefano,

I emailed you some information on the site along with an admin login. Thank you for looking into this.
