I currently use Top 10 (https://wordpress.org/plugins/top-10/) in order to count visits and was wondering if it could be used and when speaking with their developer they asked:

“Does this work with the free version of the plugin? I need to see how they integrate the other plugins. In terms of the function you can use get_tptn_post_count_only which takes the post ID but not a WP_Post object as you don’t need the object to retrieve the count.

Let me know if that works. If not we might need to try a wrapper to this function which should be easy to do.”

And I wanted to 2x check if get_tptn_post_count_only would work or if more would need to be done?

    Hi Amari,
it’s easy to add support for it. I can look into doing that next week and release it as an update.

    A nice day,
    Stefano
