    Hello,

    great plugin!
however, I have a problem with the total payment column
I ticked the box “Exclude posts from stats after they are paid” so once the payment has been sent, the balance due is just.
    BUT !
Now the payment to the words of my authors can evolve, that is to say that the author A who is currently payaer 0.03 € / word can probably be paid 0.04 in a few months
I set this with the custom parameter “user roles”

So when I change the role of the author in order to pay more (ie 0.04 instead of 0.03 for example) the column total payment this updates to this new value so the items previously payed a 0.03 € this finds to be noted as being pay 0.04 €
So we can not change the payments of authors without distorting the statistics of previous articles or I missed a parameter?
Thank you in advance for your help

    Hi Alexandre,
first sorry for the delay, I missed your post!

So we can not change the payments of authors without distorting the statistics of previous articles or I missed a parameter?

That is right – payments are computed on the fly with the current settings, so updating payment settings has effect on all posts total payments. However, as you have experienced, the Due payment column is always right (if you mark authors as paid before changing their settings) 🙂

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano

That’s what I understood, it’s a shame because I must also remove the section “list of articles” for the author.
Having no choice, I’ll arrange it like that, could you give me the name of the file and the line of code to comment (delete) so that the total payment colone no longer appears.
    thank you so much

Changing the code directly is not advised as it would break future updates. Since it was a possibly-useful feature for others, I have just added an option in the Options > Counting settings box > Total payment section to allow hiding of the Total payment column. Version 2.744 of Post Pay Counter ships this feature, and should be available in minutes 🙂

    Have a nice day,
