Whenever I try to pay my writers, the system times out. It allows me to get as far as the review page with all of their post views, but when I try to submit, it times out. I’ve had to pay them manually, but I have over 40 writers and this has proven difficult to maintain. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Geoff,
could you please refresh your plugins page a couple times? It looks like requests to my server are not getting through… What version are you running?

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano

It seems like remote requests to our server (this one, postpaycounter.com) fail, and unfortunately there’s not much we can do. See this post to understand why it happens.

    Hi Geoff,
we moved to a new server on July 20 and all connections issues should have been fixed.

Quoting from the newsletter that have just been sent out,

The most important thing is that, on July 20, we moved to a new server. The number of people who could not activate their license or enjoy PayPal payment features has slowly kept increasing, so it was necessary for us to find a hosting solution that would fix these issues. As of today, connection time out issues, both for license activations and PayPal transactions should be a nightmare of the past.

What does this mean to you? If you had your license activated through the License box, without our intervention, then this just means quicker connections to our servers. If you had your license manually activated, then our license server is likely not to know your license has actually been activated, and refuse PayPal transactions on this ground. To fix this, you only need to deactivate your license through the License box and reactivate it again with your own license key.
