Personalized Settings Not Working

    The personalized settings are not working for me. I save and it tells me that the settings are updated but when you got back and check it, the old settings are still there.

    Further when you click to edit a user, it keeps going to the number 1 user id (admin) settings. The url at the top will show the right user id number but the settings page itself will show the admin user instead! Not sure what is going on there.

    Another issue I have run into is that I am unable to find all my users when I want to edit their settings. I have 20 contributors but when I click on ‘contributor’ in the personalized settings, only 6 show up.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Alma,
    could I have a temp admin account on the site to inspect this? I hope I’ll be able to look at it tonight, otherwise I fear you’ll have to wait until september as I’m on vacation (as the header says. I’m just back for a fortnight).

    It would have been nice had the Keymaster posted the resolution to the problem here. Smh

    The solution in this case was to tick the permission Let users know if other users have personalized settings for the admin plugin custom settings. 🙂
