I can’t get the page views in Post Pay Counter to match those that I see in Google Analytics. The numbers Post Pay Counter presents tend to be significant larger, sometimes 3 to 4 times as large as what I see on Google’s site. I’ve updated the data, which doesn’t help at all. Any suggestions?

    Hi Deric,
are you using any server-caching or caching plugin on your WordPress? Could you try disabling them for a while and pulling data anew please?

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano

Thank you for getting back to me. We are using caching, both in a plugin and at the server. We’ve tried turning caching off in both, but the counts remain very wrong. Do you have any further suggestions?

    Hi Deric,
There was probably an issue with analytics data updates on busy administrative sections, I’m currently waiting for confirmation from another user to know if my fix worked, and will then release it ๐Ÿ™‚

    Sorry for the inconvenient!
    Have a nice day,

Hi Stefano- I am having the same issue. The views is showing up much larger than actual views…roughly 6-7 times the correct amount. We use caching. Is there any way I can correct this?

    i Dave,
please make sure you’re running PRO version 1.5.8.4, then go to Options > Google Analytics Status > Update data and try to update data manually. Do numbers look fine after all rows have been updated?

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano

    Hi,

I cannot get the google analytics pageviews or unique pageviews to correctly show up (thus showing incorrect payouts to our writers). I am using the most up to date version. We have roughly 2 million views per month to account for, so it is incredibly frustrating. I need some assistance to fix the errors.

For example, one post that has 11k views in google analytics shows up in your plugin as 29k for the same time period.

Then another that has 7k in google analytics is showing up as 2.9k unique page views in the plugin. Total pageviews is the same issue. I literally have no idea what to do.

    Hi Dave,
sorry for the delay, been away with no internet. What about some Skype/screen-sharing/something that would put us directly in touch, so we can try to fix this together? Maybe email me at support [at ] thecrowned [ dot] org so we can arrange that, if it’s fine for you.

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano
