Hopefully there is just some delay, but for some reason yesterday’s pageviews aren’t showing up on the articles. Any ideas why this would have occurred?
Thanks,
KJOctober 15, 2014 at 7:04 pm #12488StefanoKeymasterHi,
are there any errors in the plugin error log, in the options?October 15, 2014 at 8:33 pm #12497KJKeymasterYes, there are errors, but they all appear to deal with Paypal. If you’d like to email me kj@fantasyteamadvice.com I can set you up with a temp login again
October 16, 2014 at 9:12 pm #12567StefanoKeymasterWe sorted that out: there had just been some delay with the data update ๐
October 19, 2014 at 9:25 pm #13608freemunnyKeymasterHey I am having the same issue. New views are not showing up, even though the que is being processed. Maybe something needs to be reset? The error log is clean, too.
October 19, 2014 at 10:32 pm #13620StefanoKeymasterLet’s just wait a day and see if data line up by itself, which is what happened for the other user: as soon as I logged in to check, all visits numbers were already fine. Let’s just see if tomorrow the problem is still there ๐
October 20, 2014 at 12:00 am #13633freemunnyKeymasterThe post I made is already 2 days old and still showing 0 views. I cannot open this system up to the users if they have to wait several days to see their views. I can understand a few hours delay, but a few days is not going to work. Maybe I have something messed up? I believe all the settings are correct, as it is set to include admin views.
October 20, 2014 at 8:19 am #13670StefanoKeymasterOk, sorry, then there could be something wrong. Anyway, keep in mind that there’s a one day delay in visits updating as Analytics doesn’t allow any other way. If today the first visit is logged, it will take until tomorrow for the plugin to take that and count it.
Please try to revoke Analytics authorization, setting it up again and see if that posts gets some visits.
October 20, 2014 at 4:50 pm #13791freemunnyKeymasterI already did that. Been doing it for months and it never works. Ill make you a login and email it to you.
October 22, 2014 at 6:07 am #14545freemunnyKeymasterNicely done. I can even pull reports since beginning of time till today without blowing up the server. I think my site can finally go to the next level!
October 22, 2014 at 7:27 am #14562StefanoKeymasterYes, that’s possible and quite useful a feature! Just a couple FYI:
- It may be wise to lower a bit the rows to be processed per page load in the plugin’s Analytics settings. They’re at 250 now, but when I was inspecting this thing it took quite some time for the page to load when there were pending rows (actually went timeout a couple of times). It may be better to have 200 or even 150, and wait a couple more page loads to have all data updated.
- Analytics data is automatically pulled each day, but it is stored in the database in chunks, updating a certain number of rows every time the page loads. Note that the updating only happens on the stats page, so if you see pending rows not being processed, try to reload the stats page and they should go down.
Glad we fixed your issue ๐
Have a nice day,
StefanoOctober 30, 2014 at 4:53 pm #18483freemunnyKeymasterOnce again… Stats have not updated since october 25. Today is October 30. Missing 4-5 days of stats, even though all rows show processed.
Why does this keep happening? My site cannot grow if the earnings system is not reliable. ๐
Your login is still valid on my site. Please fix it so this does not keep happening!
October 30, 2014 at 9:08 pm #18567StefanoKeymasterI pulled data anew, you’ll have to reload the stats page more than once to get all rows updated.
Tomorrow I’ll enable the Analytics debug mode and see why the autoupdate is failing, sorry about that!
November 2, 2014 at 12:05 am #19537freemunnyKeymasterOkay. The rows were updated yesterday, and new stats were included from the day before. Yesterday’s stats still have not shown up though.
November 2, 2014 at 12:25 am #19543freemunnyKeymasterAhh. I found something that might help narrow down the issue. When I went to mark my posts as paid, it showed I had 15 views on my most recent post… but on the front end earnings page it shows 0 views for the same post.
November 2, 2014 at 10:11 am #19697StefanoKeymasterWhat is its post ID?
November 2, 2014 at 11:04 am #19711StefanoKeymasterMeanwhile, I enabled the Analytics debug feature – I’ll check back on it tomorrow ๐
November 2, 2014 at 4:34 pm #19771freemunnyKeymasterThe post was called comments-sidebar-section… but this morning, those “front end” earnings have caught up with the “mark as paid” report.
November 3, 2014 at 3:52 pm #20159StefanoKeymasterThe Analytics udpate request today was correctly made – data should be fine, are they?
November 4, 2014 at 3:00 pm #20452freemunnyKeymasterThey were… but my server admins did a migrate and now there are authorization issues with analytics. It said curl or something and wont authorize.
