    Hello,

    After discovering I needed to update my version of PHP yesterday, I called my host and worked out that I had to get a different hosting server to upgrade the PHP. I bought the new server, migrated my website, updated the PHP version, and now all of my PPC Pro and Google Analytics problems are fixed.

    But there’s a new one:

    When I try to fetch data from Google, I get this error:
    An error was thrown with code “ga_write_temp_file_error”, message “Error: could not write temp file content.” and debug data “array (
    ‘file_path’ => ‘/home/populove/public_html/wp-content/plugins/post-pay-counter-pro/temp/ga/ppcp_ga_request_data_temp_1473830488.5956.txt’,
    )”.

    I found an identical error in another support post, and the solution was to set the permission in the Temp folder to 775 (or 777) and delete all files. I tried to do this, but I’m missing the post-pay-counter-pro/temp folder.

    How do I fix this?

    Hi Timothy,
    I’m glad to know upgrading to PHP 5.5 fixed your issues.

    The missing temp folder is unfortunately my fault: I had accidentally deleted it from the plugin zip in the latest release, and there has been a time frame of roughly one day in which people who installed it had the temp folder missing. I’ve pushed an update which restores the folder yesterday, so you should probably get it through your WordPress soon (refresh a couple of times the Plugins list, or force the update check in Dashboard > Updates). Anyway, the solution is simply to create the temp folder in post-pay-counter-pro and make sure that inside the temp folder there also is a ga folder, all with 755 permissions 🙂

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano
