    Hi Stefano,

I hope i can explain this quite clearly. Currently, when you go to the Stats table, you are presented with the views for that month (or whatever is default first) and along with it – the published posts within that month. For example, in May I posted 3 posts, but in April i posted 5. I am only seeing the May posts (3) if I am currently in May. I wanted to ask if it’s possible to list ALL the posts since the beginning of time and then only the views change based on the date range.

The idea is that my writers will have content on the website for many months and Id like to track / tally up views that happen even on older posts. Is there such a way?

    Thanks

    Hi Shayne,
sure! You can edit the default time range in the Miscellanea box in the Options page, with a wide time range! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hey Stefano,

Okay great – so, if I make it something like 365 days or so, will it still allow me to filter to see how many views those (older) posts received in the current month?

    Thanks my man!

Yes – but don’t me mislead: all views figures are total visits, regardless of the time range you pick! The time range only affects what posts are displayed.

hey again – i just had a look at the options and I think its not quite what I was after. Thats just setting the default display of data when the user views the stats page. What i was after was having all posts visible, regardless of the time range. Right now, it shows only the posts that are published inside that time range – so for example: This month I posted 2 blogs. Last month I posted 5. When I go to view the stats; I would like it to show me everything (total 7 blogs) and to see the stats (with the time range) accordingly. So, if some blog posts had 0 views that month (even though they were posted a month or two ago), they would show up as 0 views for this month, but show 10 views throughout the year. If you know what i mean?
