I have installed Post Pay Counter Pro on my site, and have authorized the Google Analytics for it, but it doesn’t seem to be operating properly. My Google analytics is showing 1000’s of views on some of the posts and the same posts on the stats page are coming up 0 or 1 view and it doesn’t match what I’m seeming on my Google Analytics dashboard at all – please advise what I can do to get the plugin to be consistent with my Google tracking? The Google profile is definitely correctly set, and also the it is clicked to track according to Visits contribute to payment computation x Google Analytics for tracking system. Still not working though.
ThanksJuly 4, 2014 at 5:46 pm #1735StefanoKeymasterHi Indira,
are you running version 1.4.6, and have you manually updated Analytics data after updating to that latest version?Have a nice day,
StefanoJuly 4, 2014 at 9:27 pm #1739IndiraKeymasterHi Stefano
It says it is the Pro Version 1.4.5 – where can I get the 1.4.6 update?Installed version: 2.31 – Support
PRO version: 1.4.5 – SupportJuly 4, 2014 at 11:12 pm #1741StefanoKeymasterI am sending you a copy of the latest issue of the newsletter with the latest version details and link. Some servers don’t allow outbound connections, or at any rate prevent the autoupdate mechanism for working, and that’s why I added the newsletter as well. Let me know!
July 10, 2014 at 9:01 pm #2084IndiraKeymasterHi Thank you for sending the new plugin. The counter is still showing 0 views on all the posts after I installed the update, although my google analytics is showing different stats on the posts in question – what can I do to get the plugin to synch with my Google Analytics? There must be something not connecting. I just installed it – how do I get the counter to update? I updated the days to 120 and it is still showing 0 on all the post views.
“It is advised to update data manually again from Options > Google Analytics Status > Update data to correct any misbehaviour.”
Please advise.
July 10, 2014 at 9:06 pm #2085StefanoKeymasterPlease check that Post Pay Counter > Options > Counting Settings > Visits contribute… > Use Google Analytics is checked, both for general and personalized settings (if any).
Let me know!
July 11, 2014 at 10:49 am #2092IndiraKeymasterHi
Yes it is checked on this window: Post Pay Counter > Options > Counting Settings > Visits contribute… also here: > Use Google Analytics is checked,What do you mean by this? both for general and personalized settings (if any).
I don’t see anywhere to check for this option – where are personalized settings? For each user? These are also checked.
I’m getting this error log as well:

July 12, 2014 at 6:34 pm #2117IndiraKeymasterI revoked Analytics authorization and setting it up – and it is showing page views on some of the posts – but it is still not showing the correct numbers. For example this post shows over 6100 unique views in the last 30 days on my google analytics, and you can see there are a lot of comments + people who tweeted the post: http://untitled-magazine.com/cedella-marley-gives-us-the-low-down-on-the-marley-collection/
but on the plugin stats for Post Pay Counter Pro it shows 2 views!
Same thing with this interview with Boy George –
We have loads of views on google analytics, but yours shows 1 view – which is definitely not correct.
How can we get the numbers to correspond? They should match my Google analytics exactly if it is pulling the numbers from the same source. Could it be a problem with another plugin that also pulls numbers from my Google Analytics? I also use Google Analyticator, Google Analytics for WordPress, and Top 10 – all of which are showing consistent numbers.
July 16, 2014 at 10:24 pm #2208JaredKeymasterI’m having the same problem (although with no errors). I went back and uninstalled and installed everything and I can’t get it to work properly. I’ve triple checked all the options. Not sure if this is relevant, but the reason I actually upgraded was because the free plugin wasn’t counting stats correctly and didn’t seem to be working with the jetpack stats. So I thought I would upgrade to be able to use analytics, but it’s not working either. Point I’m trying to make is it might not specifically be the google anayltics part for me.
July 17, 2014 at 8:26 am #2224StefanoKeymasterHi Jared,
we sorted out Indira’s problem (by email): the problem for him was that Analytics was postponing the domain name to most page URLs, thus invalidating the permalinks. Are views being overcounted or undercounted? Is it only the views that are messed up, or other stuff as well?
Please enable the Analytics debug feature and update data manually through Options > Google Analytics Status > Update data, then send me the debug file.
Have a nice day,
StefanoSeptember 24, 2014 at 3:33 am #9015Shane LundbergKeymasterMy page count will not update. It is connected to my google analytics and all it does it show a number in queue and it stays there. I have tried to revoke the info and reset it up but nothing changes. Everything was working correctly until an error code last month where I uninstalled and reinstalled. Please help as I am bringing on new authors soon and really was needing your program. Thanks.
September 24, 2014 at 7:08 am #9029StefanoKeymasterHi Shane,
please, try to refresh the stats page a couple of times and see if the rows pending count in the Options does go down or not.Have a nice day,
