    Hi Shane,
    Please make sure outbound connections are allowed on your server (you may have to contact your host).
    Let me know!

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano

    Also, the error log gave this:

    2016-01-25 16:01:31
    An error was thrown with code “ppcp_license_request_connection_error”, message “Error: Connection timed out after 10000 milliseconds” and debug data “array (
    ‘request_url’ => ‘http://postpaycounter.com/ppcp/license/ppcp_activate.php’,
    ‘parameters’ =>
    array (
    ‘license_key’ => ‘****************************************’,
    ‘website’ => ‘http://vyqui.tv’,
    ‘language’ => ‘en-US’,
    ‘PPC_version’ => ‘2.516’,
    ‘addon_version’ => ‘1.5.9.2’,
    ),
    )”.

    Contacted my host. They said outbound connections are enabled. I have the iThemes security plugin installed as well. Could that be causing the issue?

    Yes it could be. Please try to disable it and try again 🙂

    I’ve tried disabling that plugin as well as all others and even using different browsers. Still getting the error though.

    Is there an alternative method I can use to activate the plugin?

    Could you provide me with a temp admin accounton your site? You can mark the reply as private so that only I will be able to see login details. Thanks.

    Thanks. I’ve activated the plugin, although you still have network issues. I even tried setting up a request to google.com, and it went timeout as the ones to this server, so I’m guessing something prevents requests from your server to get out (at least the ones made with WP methods).

    The license is active now, so all features are available, but PayPal requires requests to my server to be made, so it probably won’t work correctly.

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano

    Alright, thank you so much. Everything that I need it to do seems to be fully functional.

    Glad to know 🙂 unfortunately you won’t even get notifications for new releases, since this as well involves a remote request, sorry! If you want to be subscribed to the newsletter, so that you’ll get an email for major releases, let me know!
