i’m using a plugin for publishing posts named “zombify” available in the theme “boombox” it helps my authors make posts easily but i noticed when my authors use the plugin to write content the plugin will use a shortcode in the gutenberg editor to display words! so these posts aren’t counted in the POST PAY COUNTER stats!
Is there anyway to make Post Pay Counter Read this plugin?

your setup is a bit unique, but I believe that enabling shortcode parsing before word counting should solve it – there is an apt option in the Words Payment section of the Counting settings options box 🙂Let me know!

i saw the option “apply shortcodes” it said that Shortcodes will be applied before counting words.
i enabled the option but it still doesn’t count the shortcode :/Do you know how the shortcode acts? Does it actually put the words in, or does it do something different?
i have no idea how the shortcode acts and to be honest i didn’t have much time to investigate and fix this problem. instead i decided to completely change the interface and roll back to the wordpress dashboard for my users.
though it would be great if creators of this plugin would investigate so other people wouldn’t have this problem in future.
