Afetr PPC pro 1.9 update I get an error with the Newsletter plugin SES addon. Disabling PPC pro fixes it. The SES plugin wasn’t updated in over a year, so I think the problem lies on the PPC pro side.
Error type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 41 of the file /var/www/vhosts/[siteURL]/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/newsletter-amazon/api/GuzzleHttp/functions.php. Error message: Cannot redeclare GuzzleHttp\describe_type() (previously declared in /var/www/vhosts/[siteURL]/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/post-pay-counter-pro/classes/google-api-php-client-master/vendor/guzzlehttp/guzzle/src/functions.php:16)
Thanks for reporting! I assume you are not using the Google Analytics integration in PPC and you were not using it before the update either, is that right?
No. I’ve been using and am still using UA. Haven’t touched the settings since the update.
Uhm, that’s odd then! Two questions:
1. Has the newsletter plugin also got an update?
2. What version of PPC PRO did you update from? Was it the one just before, 1.8.9.2?Yes, reverting back to ppc pro 1.8.9.3 fixes it.
Newsletter SES addon didn’t get a recent update, but the core Newsletter did get an update (7.6.9 https://wordpress.org/plugins/newsletter/#developers) 2 days ago, so about the same time. But the changelog only says “security fix”.
Google analytics is also one of it’s addons that I have installed. That one was last updated in december.
