KeymasterI just purchased another license for my intranet today. I can’t pay writers thru the plugin OR mark their posts as paid. No matter what I do, it says, “Error: no posts were selected”, whether I select one writer or all of them.
Never had this problem using the plugin (pro) on my other site. Please help.
Error message” Error: no posts were selected

KeymasterDo you get the same error if you open the stats for an author, check a couple posts and try to pay?

KeymasterYes. I get the exact same error message: “Error: no posts were selected” when I go that route. Please help.

KeymasterI’ve never heard of this before, can I have a temp admin account to inspect and fix myself?

KeymasterSure. I can’t post it here. Where should I send the login info?

KeymasterYou can email it to support@thecrowned.org 🙂

KeymasterI had WordPress send you the login info. Thanks so much in advance.

KeymasterI still haven’t get it, you sure you have sent it to the right address? 🙂

KeymasterSorry about that. Not sure why WP does that sometimes. I just emailed it to you personally. I sent the info to: support@thecrowned.org

KeymasterOk, thanks, I’ve got it. Is there any particular reason why you haven’t updated to the latest releases of the plugins? I’d rather not work on un-updated code…

KeymasterOk. Updated. Now it takes me to the list of articles to confirm what I am marking as paid. Then, when I click confirm payment, it STILL says “Error: no posts were selected.”
Can you please fix it? It’s been 10 days since I initially asked for your help. And, since your forum does NOT notify me when you reply, this seems to be going on and on entire too long. I need it fixed before payday on Friday.

KeymasterBBPress doesn’t allow subscribing to topics for guest users, I’m afraid, and I do think this is a shortcoming as well. I always try to reply within the day at the latest, if not in a couple of hours.
Anyway, I’ll fix it tonight as soon as I get home and let you know.
Have a nice day,

KeymasterAs you may have noticed, I’ve bee playing with it for a while. Now, I believe this is not my plugin’s fault. The point is that any post query I try to do, apparently only currently logged in users’ posts are allowed to be selected. This looks like a high-level imposition, that I have no idea where it could be coming from. Maybe you know?
(If you’d rather have this go on by email to get immediate notification of a reply, no problem for me!)

KeymasterOk. Maybe it’s the “Membership Premium” plugin. I deactivated it since we don’t actually use it anyway. BUT, what is all that garbled data that’s there now? Can you please clean that up?
OR, if it’s not going to let me pay the writer’s directly through the blog, then I have no use for the pro version. Can I just get a refund, please?
*Disclaimer – To anyone debating about buying the pro version, this is the ONLY site I’ve purchased it for and had a problem. It works perfectly everywhere else.

KeymasterOk, I finally managed to get it fixed. I still have no clue who’s causing it (disabling that plugin hadn’t fixed it), but I’ve found a way to bypass it and impose no author restrictions on my queries. As a result, I managed to make a payment to a user. You may delete it as you want (I may be mistaking your blog with someone else’s, but I may have disabled payment email notifications to avoid user being notified on my tests – so maybe check the status of the feature). Please, try to make a real payment and see if everything’s fine.
Also, thanks for the disclaimer, I really appreciate it!
Have a nice day,
