    1) The pro version has an apparently nasty conflict with Google Analytics Dashboard for WP – https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-analytics-dashboard-for-wp/ – a prominent analytics plugin. PPC stops it from loading, perhaps because of a library conflict. Disabling PPC allows it to work again.

    2) When I try to turn off all analytics settings under Google Analytics Settings inside the PPC options, there’s no way to save it. You can click to disable views and revenues data pulling, but that panel has no save button, and clicking other save buttons in other panels doesn’t save that one. It defaults to on every time.

I love this plugin and it was working great until this most recent update, but my tech says it’s too late to just roll it back because of the database changes. Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

I am the tech at massivelyop.com. I have checked what it is causes the conflict. It seems both plugins, (Google Analytics Dashboard for WP – Version 4.7.2 ) and the API google-api-php-client uses a function name called Google_Client. Due to this the Analytics plugin is trying google-api-php-client’s Google_Client function and is dying.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

Sorry not function, I meant class.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Now I have looked at it for more than 2 mins and know that the class Google_Client is part of the gapi, I can state it looks like a basic library conflict between (Google Analytics Dashboard for WP โ€“ Version 4.7.2 ) and ( Post Pay Counter PRO – Version 1.5.8 ) as both supply the gapi.

Anyway you can think of stopping this happening?

    Thanks

    Hi Bree & Kirsan,
    1) I’ve just fired a support request to the GA Dashboard for WP to see what they think of it – I looked quickly at their code and it looked to me they don’t check if some other plugin has already included the Analytics API classes. I’ll let you know here. Thanks for all the details and info anyway.
    2) Yes, thanks, that really must slipped through and I didn’t notice! Will put the save button back in the next release. I’m just waiting to see if there’s anything to be fixed in Analytics as well and then I can release ๐Ÿ™‚

    Have a nice day,

Turns out it’s actually an issue of my plugin because I’m not using the latest version of the Analytics API. I’ll fix this as soon as I can, sorry for the inconvenient!

PRO Version 1.5.8.2 should fix the issue! ๐Ÿ™‚
