When i try and mark a user as already paid, nothing happens. I see a spinning waiting icon thingy and my error log shows

2017/12/22 01:21:08 [error] 21131#21131: *1 FastCGI sent in stderr: “PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2680657912 bytes) in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/post-pay-counter-pro/classes/ppcp_payment_history_class.php on line 727” while reading response header from upstream,

    Hi Byron,
Can you please post your System Info (Post Pay Counter > System info)?
Also, please try to update to this possibly-fixed version and see if the issue gets solved.

    Let me know! 🙂

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano

I’m leery of doing a real payment knowing I can’t even manually update a payment. Any idea of what to try?

Replied to the Google post. Disabling WD analytics did fix your plugin, but I sort of need the main analytics 🙂 Is there a way to disable GA in your module for the time being? it seems that not authorizing it (deactivating it) still tries to run some GA code – or is there a potential fix that i can do?

More important is that i’m able to update a few users i’ve already paid to make sure that when i do pay others i don’t get the same symptom of running out of memory. (this ticket)

oddly enough the error is almost instant.. Usually when php runs out of memory i can see the fpm process in top chew up ram, but this just aborts the second i click “confirm payment” and debug log shows

[23-Dec-2017 08:28:36 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 9157064896 bytes) in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/post-pay-counter-pro/classes/ppcp_payment_history_class.php on line 727

    Hi Byron,
I just want to apologize for the delays in my latest replies. I have been out all day and haven’t been able to look into your issue. It will be first thing I do tomorrow morning!

    Hi Byron,
the mystery goes on. I haven’t done virtually anything, but the issue seems to have gone away! What I have done, in order, is:

    • deactivate plugin post caching (from Settings > Miscellanea box)
    • include some debugging code in the payment routine to gather details
    • see that all debugging info looked fine
    • remove debugging code
    • re-enable post caching
    • (deactivated and reactivated PRO version several times to edit files)

I honestly don’t have a clue of what could have gone wrong in the first place! Please go ahead and try it yourself, and let me know! There are already two transactions for authors Stephanie Marceau and Amber_Woodyard, that you may see yourself (just as a proof :D) and delete. Let me know!

Thanks for all your details, it’s been very helpful in trying to understand what was going on!

PS. For the Analytics issue, I have replied in the other topic.

    Hhave a nice day,
    Stefano
