Paid for the pro version, linked with google analytics.
My site has seen over 700,000 pageviews thus far in August. Plugin only shows 26,000, and only appears to be counting articles that were written in August?
Not sure what to do
Thanks,
KJAugust 19, 2014 at 9:20 am #5475KJKeymasterLooking at it again.. it seems to count the pageviews in the month when the article was written. Is there anyway to see the pageviews just for each month?
Don’t want to have to go back and search for each month for our writers to pay them out (we have 50+ writers on site..)
August 19, 2014 at 12:35 pm #5491StefanoKeymasterHi KJ,
I couldn’t quite get what you mean and need. Are you sure you’ve pulled data manually from the Google Analytics Status box in the settings for at least 30 days?August 19, 2014 at 4:29 pm #5508KJKeymasterI pulled data for the last 500 days. Looks like it is all there.
The issue is, that for the month of August it shows my articles have 930 pageviews, while my most popular article which was published in May is seeing over 20,000 pageviews per day.
I need it to go month by month and show how many pageviews are being accrued that month.
Right now, if I go look at pageviews since May, it shows over 750,000 for my account, but in the month of August just 930. I can’t go back for each author to the date of their published articles to see how much they are owed obviously.. I need to see how much they made in August so I can pay them month to month
August 20, 2014 at 6:38 pm #5730KJKeymasterStill waiting for a response. I’ve tied google analytics into the site, but need to find a solution as I pay our writers based on pageviews, and the free plugin we use has decided to stop working
August 20, 2014 at 7:41 pm #5734StefanoKeymasterSorry for the delay, I’m currently on vacation with limited connection and only with my phone. If you can wait until september we can have a skype/teamviewer session then and trouleshoot it together, otherwise I’ll do what I can from here…
There are a variety of reasons why that could be happening. Please enable the Analytics debug feature as explained in the FAQ http://www.thecrowned.org/post-pay-counter-pro/faq and pull data manually again. Wait until all rows pending have been dealt with and send me the file wp-content/plugins/post-pay-counter-pro/temp/ppcp_ga.log. Also send over a post ID with the visits number as displayed by Analytics, as they should be, and are actually mistaken in the plugin.Hopefully I should be able to get what’s going on.
Have a nice day,
StefanoAugust 20, 2014 at 8:33 pm #5737KJKeymasterPlease email me when you are available in September. kj@xxx.com
The issue doesn’t appear to be with google analytics. I would like to be able to view the number of page views each month, instead of just viewing the views for articles written that month.
Either way, hopefully we can find a solution
August 20, 2014 at 8:35 pm #5739KJKeymasterUntil then I will deactivate the plugin on both sites where I purchased the pro version
August 21, 2014 at 8:39 am #5896StefanoKeymasterSure, I will email you then. Sorry again, and thanks for understanding!
August 21, 2014 at 3:23 pm #6052KJKeymasterThanks, awaiting your response. Hopefully we can work together to get the plugin working as it would be perfect for my sites, and to pay my 50+ authors
