Whenever I am using your plugin, I think to myself – this guy is amazing! Thank you so much for creating this plugin and the addons!
Ok, so I am having trouble finding a way to view writer stats and payment links. When I click on ‘Stats’ no data shows up. When I change the dates include the past year, no stats show up, even though I know writers have posted articles and they have compensation settings set to their username.
In the Options section, when I click on a user’s name, all I can see his how their compensation is set up. I am unable to find a place where I can view that user’s stats and I am unable to find a place where I can click over to PayPal to pay them. How can I pay them, if I cannot find the way to pay them???
Please help me find a list of their performance and link to paying them. Thank you.
June 12, 2015 at 7:42 pm #43779StefanoKeymasterHi JD,
really thanks for your appreciation! As for your issue, I think the problem is that your user (Personalize settings box > Your user name, if that’s not there then fallback to general settings) doesn’t have the right permissions. Make sure you have them all checked, and then maybe try to deselect them one by one to understand which ones you want to have and which ones are not needed.
Does this help?Have a nice day,
StefanoJune 12, 2015 at 11:52 pm #43780JD SullivanKeymasterI am having trouble understanding.
Are you saying that the settings box, we see when we first log in is only for general permissions? And then we need to have settings for each user name set as well and that the only ones that will work in the user names are the ones that have permissions set in that first box?
I think that this needs to be more clear in the interface, because it appears that the general settings would apply to everyone across the board, but I am realizing that this might not be the case. Part of what is confusing is that the wording is the same in the permissions box and in the personalized settings per user. I think that different wording would make the distinction more clear.
I will try selecting all on the first general page and then unselecting with the individual users. This is a rahter tedious solution because there is no sense that it will actually solve it, but I will give it a try. One question, is that even if I am selecting/deselecting… will I see the results for each user? Given that no traffic to their posts is likely to be going on or maybe their post is not earning from adsense duringthe testing period. Again, this is going to be very time consuming to sort it out, I fear.

No, that’s exactly how it works! So my point was, although I realize I may have not been wholly clear: go to Personalize Settings > Administrator > Your username > Permissions > tick them all > Save Settings. Then check if stats show up correctly.
June 14, 2015 at 3:17 am #43824JD SullivanKeymasterI went to Post pay Counter> Options> Personalize Settings > Administrator > JD Sullivan > Permissions > tick them all > Save Settings.
Then when I go to the stats page, even viewing the past year during which we have had posts by people with the Post pay Counter enabled, nothing shows up.
June 14, 2015 at 3:49 am #43826JD SullivanKeymasterOk I think I found part of the problem. I had changed the variables for what people get paid for. So I added “Basic Assured Payment” to .01 and posted an test article to see if it would make it so stats would show up for that. Now the stats page says “No posts reach the threshold.”
How do I make adjustments to the threshold amount?
June 14, 2015 at 9:18 am #43835StefanoKeymasterOh right: what you’re looking for is in Counting Settings > Total Payment > Pay only when the total payment threshold is reached. Try to uncheck it and see if it works ๐
June 14, 2015 at 10:19 pm #43857JD SullivanKeymasterI have had it unchecked, but looked at again to make sure and nothing changes when it is unchecked. I tried setting the threshold to .01, I tried setting it to 0, and to .00001, none of those allowed for any stats to show up. I tried to view just stats for the admin, that did not result in any stats showing up. I have per post set at .01 and I have a post that has been published under admin, after I made this setting. It should be showing at least .01 earned for the post, but it is not.
June 15, 2015 at 6:40 am #43877StefanoKeymasterThat’s getting pretty weird… Would it be a problem for you to set me up a tempo admin account so that I can look into it directly myself?
June 15, 2015 at 8:18 pm #43907JD SullivanKeymasterI can create a temp admin for you. What is your email address so I can set it up? If you cannot post it here, you can shoot me a message to my email address listed in this form.
June 15, 2015 at 9:11 pm #43910StefanoKeymasterThanks. You can write me at support[ @]thecrowned[ dot].org ๐
June 23, 2015 at 7:48 am #44323JD SullivanKeymasterOk, I added you. You should have received an email with your username and login link.
June 23, 2015 at 8:45 am #44326StefanoKeymasterThanks, I’ve got it, but I have almost no permission in the wp-admin… I need to at least be able to see all the PPC pages
June 27, 2015 at 5:57 pm #44439JD SullivanKeymasteryou have administrator access now
June 28, 2015 at 8:07 am #44451StefanoKeymasterIt should be fixed now. Check it out and let me know ๐
July 7, 2015 at 7:09 am #44559JD SullivanKeymasterWhat was wrong with it?
July 7, 2015 at 8:27 am #44561StefanoKeymasterThe issue was that there was still one user who, in his personalized settings, had the threshold check box ticked. Being the only one with published posts, his posts wouldn’t show up and so nothing would be displayed ๐
July 18, 2015 at 2:11 pm #44627JD SullivanKeymasterIt appears that only the free version of PPC is activated, the pro version is not. Was this intentional? How did you fix it,so I can know what was wrong with it?
July 18, 2015 at 3:45 pm #44628StefanoKeymasterI haven’t touched anything since I solved your problem, so if it happened recently it was not done by me… Maybe just reactivating it would fix?
September 3, 2015 at 4:56 am #45620GeoffKeymasterWhat was the solution to this? I’m having the same issue. Thanks
